I would return and stay here again.
Pros:

Great facilities, it has a separate building, where we stayed, so you have to walk up to the main building (5min) to use the SPA and pool, there is a changing room that you can use. We had dinner which was amazing (but even though it was advertised as buffet it ended up being a menu charge).

Cons:

Having a drink at the cockteil bar wasn't the best experience, as we order the first drink and after more than an hour no one checked on us (wanted to order another round but the bar was unatended). I must say it was just before dinner and same person attended us at the dinner table. (so I guess short-staffed due to out of season).

Pros:

Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen - sogar eine vegane Ecke. Der Ausblick vom Restaurant zum See war grandios. Schönes Schwimmbad - Sauna aus Zeitgründen nicht besucht. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und alles sehr gepflegt. mit einem Wort: TOP

Dem Paradies sehr nah.
Pros:

Das besondere ist das familiäre Flair des Hotels. Man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause.
Das große Schwimmbecken lädt zum schwimmen ein.
Die traumhafte Lage bezaubert.

Alles ... freundliches Personal, sehr sauber und ordentlich, wirklich bestens.
Ok, das Zimmer war etwas kleiner, als wir es gewohnt sind, aber dafür total kuschelig und gemütlich.

Schöne Woche in St. Gilgen
Pros:

Sehr schönes, geräumiges Zimmer Nr. 5. Trotz Nähe zur Bundesstraße keine Geräuschbelästigung. Auch nicht bei geöffnetem Fenster.
Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Die Lage etwas abseits vom großen Hotel (von uns bewusst so gewählt) und trotzdem für den Gang zum Frühstück nah genug.
Super WLAN, verschlüsselt. Top!
Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, sehr gut.
Bequeme Betten. Gute Luft im Zimmer.
Unschlagbar: die Aussicht vom Restaurant beim Frühstück.
Schön angelegte Gartenanlage. Fitnessraum mit Tischtennisplatte.
Ein wirklich schöner, erholsamer Urlaub. Danke!

Cons:

Ich hätte mir eine Dusche auf Poolebene gewünscht. Sie ist eine Etage tiefer als das Schwimmbad. Es gibt auch nur eine.

Beautiful, luxurious stay in an amazing place!
Pros:

Beautiful views, fantastic spa, friendly staff. Lovely place- good for outside activities and within reach of Salzburg.

Cons:

Expensive, but worth it. The halfboard was buffet style , but food was delicious.

Pros:

A very comfortable room in the old Landhouse just next to the main hotel. The main hotel dining room and terrace has amazing views of the lake and mountains, and the buffet breakfast had all the delicious classics. The hotel has an incredible swimming pool and sauna/spa complex within its garden for use by guests. It is 5 mins walk into town. Frau Hollweger is charming and exudes Austrian hospitality. The whole hotel is comfortable, peaceful and classy.

Cons:

Smokers should be given their own corner area of the outside terrace, rather than mingling with the other tables enjoying their meals.

Pros:

The house had a comfortable parking space right up front, and within short walking distance to the main hotel.
At the hotel we could enjoy the offered dinner at a time that fit into our daily schedule of traveling the area. This was especially good considering most of the local restaurants closed very early.
The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially Ronold that welcomed us. They also provided us with a daily transportation pass which we used to get to, and back from, Bad Ischl.
