South Maui Ocean View Condo with Free Wifi and Parking

Brak klimatyzacji w sypialni, wiatrak na suficie absolutnie nie dawał rady, mąż musiał używać dodatkowych wiatraków i to nie było komfortowe, pościel sztuczna, więc od razu byliśmy cali mokrzy, w łazience, która wymaga remontu, też brak jakiegokolwiek nawiewu. Dziwne, że na takiej gorącej wyspie są oferty bez klimatyzacji. WiFi bardzo słabe, nie można było nawet e-maili odebrać. W kuchni brak czajnika, patelnie tak stare, że lepiej ich nie używać. W salonie była klimatyzacja, ale co z tego jak przecież nikt chyba nie jeździ na Hawaje, aby w ciągu dnia siedzieć w salonie, a nie zwiedzać, czy korzystać z plaży. W kuchni też gorąco, bo brak wiatraka, mimo klimatyzacji w salonie. W basenie lodowata woda.

Bedroom was hot and stuffy with inadequate access to fresh air. We had 3 fans operating all night long and it was still uncomfortable. We noticed that the fans intake screens were clogged with dust and dirt, as was the screen on the only window. We cleaned them and the air quality improved a bit. Amy suggested leaving the a/c on in the living room all night. It helped a little bit but there was still an absence of fresh air.
The air conditioner worked well but it was falling apart on the deck. Living room furniture was uncomfortable.
The pots and pans were inadequate and Amy ended up bringing hers over. The teflon frying pans were scratched and unhealthy to use.
Amy was great with us until we asked for pots we could cook with. She seemed annoyed with us that she didn't have time to replace pots that were damaged by the previous guests. This was 6 days into our stay.

No AC in bedroom, only in living room

Tijdens mijn verblijf waren er constructie werkzaamheden aan het gebouw: er werd gewerkt met een kraan, er werd geboord en gehamerd.
Tegen over de voordeur en het slaapkamerraam zaten de liften en ook de stortkoker van de afval, waarvan de klep met een harde klap dicht valt.

W-Lan Verbindung könnte besser/stabiler sein.

La climatisation n’étant pas centrale, il faisait un peu plus chaud dans la chambre, mais avec les ventilateurs bien orientés c’était ok. Aussi, lors de l’ordre d’évacuation en lien avec le tsunami, le bureau du complexe de condo a fermé nous laissant sans aide pour nous organiser et savoir quelles étaient nos options. Par contre, Amy la propriétaire du condo m’a répondu tout de suite sur booking.

The air conditioning was a little window unit in the bottom right side of the front room. There's no central AC. The bathroom didn't have a fan, so the bathroom was humid and hot! The air had been off for several days before my husband and I arrived. It was no less than 80 degrees when we arrived. The first night was miserable because of the heat. We had ever fan in the unit going plus running the AC as low as it would go. The bedroom was in the back of the condo, so it took a couple of days before it cooled off. If you decide to stay at this condo, shut the bathroom door and be prepared for it to be very warm. Even opening the balcony door didn't help.

the polyester sheets and pillows were pretty terrible, the tropics are not the place for plastic sheets. one of the pools was also pretty dirty but that's no fault on the amazing host.

My only complaint about the whole place was the bedroom never got cool and being from Florida we like to sleep in a really cool room. If we had known about the air conditioning before hand it may have been a deal breaker.

Property and complex is definitely very dated. However, you are so close to the beach, food and other activities so you are unlikely to be spending much time here. It is enough for a decent night sleep especially for the price you are paying.

Glade plug ins are toxic. We unplugged them and luckily the smell went away after a few hours. It took us a day to pinpoint the chemical smell.

The air conditioning is virtually nonexistent. Not a huge issue but it was 85 degrees during my stay and made it a bit restless after being in the sun. I also came with the intention to work remote and the WiFi does not work. At all. definitely needs updates and next door neighbor was kind of trashy (loud, burning incense). If there was an AC unit in the bedroom it would have been great but definitely made my vacation less enjoyable. Don’t stay here unless it’s cheap or cold, spend an extra bit and stay at Maui coast hotel. But if you’re in a pinch it’s a fine spot. Did enjoy all the beach things like umbrella and chairs though. Ok ish value but kind of old and hot.
