Beautiful place with amazing view. Clean and tidy.
Room was clean and spacious.
After checking in and being left in our room alone the hotel person let herself back into our room without knocking and helped herself to most of our cutlery that we needed for the self catering facilities and gave it to the guest next door. She did not speak or acknowledge us and simply walked in took the cutlery and left. I found this rude and unhelpful as it left us without things we needed.
We were not informed on booking that the room is up about 30 plus steps after you have negotiated the dangerous road to cross after you park. It is absolutely unsuitable for children or elderly people or people with a disability. I would not stay here again and if there is anywhere else to stay then book that instead unless you are very fit and healthy and can carry bags up ridiculously difficult stairs.
Beautiful view of the bay and town from the balcony. Comfortable and clean.
Close to town but best to drive there Busy narrow road with no pedestrian walkway..
The room was decorated in a shabby chic style, but felt quite outdated. It was however very clean and a decent size. The bed was large and very comfortable. The views from the room and balcony were stunning and certainly worth the price paid. There was a small kitchenette in the room which again was functional but dated.
The location was great for views, but it is a 12 minute walk along the main road to get to Pylos to eat, and parts of it are fairly steep which we found ok but some night not. The second night we drove instead. There is ample parking across the street from the rooms which was great.
The bathroom was pretty small and had no extractor fan. The shower was lovely and hot and powerful but the bracket to put the shower into was broken so you had to hold it which was not great whilst trying to shampoo and wash!! It also didn't drain very well so water collected in the bottom and the bathroom.
