Saluga Nubian Guest House

Eine wunderbare, sichere und ruhige Unterkunft. Die geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmer sind grösser als sie auf dem Bild erscheinen und das Bett war sehr bequem. Alles ist Tip top sauber. Das Frühstück war supergut, reichhaltig und mit viel frischen Früchten. Wir haben jeden Abend auf der Terrasse gegessen, sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Freundliches unaufdringliches Team. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Das Wlan in den Zimmern funktioniert einwandfrei. Hagi hat uns umsichtig bei der Planung geholfen und uns wirklich äusserst gut betreut. Er vermittelt sichere und zuverlässige Fahrer. Ein Motorboot liegt praktisch immer an der Anlegestelle, so dass man schnell auf dem Festland ist. Ein idealer Ort um zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. An dem traumhaften Ausblick kann man sich nicht genug sattsehen....
Jederzeit würden wir in dieses kleine Paradies zurückkommen und bedanken uns herzlich für die Gastfreundschaft.

I had a wonderful experience at Saluga. It’s a fantastic location right on the Nile, offering a calm and peaceful stay, yet only a short boat trip from the Nubian Village or downtown Aswan. The property manager was always available to ferry me to different locations, even at 4am when I had a day trip to Abu Simbel. My room was spacious and well appointed, with a balcony overlooking the water. They also offer an excellent breakfast and other meals on request. Highly recommended.

Le paysage est tres beau mais on se sent bien seul ici , on est au milieu de nulle part, pas dans un village. pas de réception a l'hotel . Le personnel qui gere le bateau et le petit dejeuner est hyper gentil et serviable, il nous a bien sorti d'affaire pour arriver ou repartir de nuit. L'acces entre Assouan et l'hôtel pas simple : bateau tuk tuk et taxi ( ou minibus public si tu es routard )

Balcone con vista bellissima, staff molto cordiale e disponibile. L’arrivo in struttura con la barca è un’esperienza memorabile.

Se cercate un luogo immerso in una natura ancora intatta e a stretto contatto con il Nilo, questo è il posto giusto per voi.
Pur trovandosi a 5 minuti di barca dalla città qui regna il silenzio.
Vedere scorrere il Nilo stesi dal letto è qualcosa di meraviglioso.
Le isolette che si trovano davanti al b&b e le dune che si vedono sullo sfondo sono prive di costruzioni. Si tratta di uno dei pochi punti rimasti ancora intatti di Assuan.
Nella stanza nella quale ho soggiornato c'era una grande porta finestra che dava su un balcone e un ulteriore finestra laterale; il letto era molto comodo; gli asciugamani erano grandi, di ottima qualità e con un buon profumo di bucato.
La colazione era perfetta! Spremuta di arancia fresca una mattina e succo fresco di mango la mattina seguente; e poi macedonia, pane occidentale, miele e marmellata, yogurt, formaggi, tea, caffè...
Inoltre accordandosi con loro c'è la possibilità di pranzare e cenare nel loro ristorante.
Il Saluga possiede le tipiche barche a motore con le quali è possibile spostarsi facilmente dove si vuole e fare un tour sul Nilo.
Conosco bene Assuan e il Saluga è il luogo che preferisco.
Io organizzo viaggi in Egitto per piccoli gruppi accompagnati da me (minimo 3 massimo 6 persone); oppure organizzo viaggi fatti in autonomia da chi preferisce viaggiare da solo. Beautiful location on a more secluded island in front of a natural reserve. The views from the guest house and the room is exceptional. Omar who took us from and to everywhere on his beautiful boat through the Nile was helpful, kind and very patient with us and our times. He helped us with everything we needed and took us at 4am to the dock for Abu Simbel. If you like adecenture and more secluded places, this is for you!

The location was perfect... so beautiful. The breakfast was impeccable. The hosts were amazing. The place was so peaceful, so lovely, we really enjoyed it. Go there when you want to unplug and have true peace.

The property could not have had a more beautiful view, the whole place was exceptionally clean, the rooms extremely comfortable and the food delicious. The photos really do not do the place justice - located on the peaceful Sahel island and overlooking the nature reserve, there is no place I would rather stay in Aswan! On top of that, Omar went above and beyond to look after us during our stay which was very much appreciated! Including an amazing boat tour around Aswan and a packed up breakfast for our super early morning transfer - couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you!!
