Pros:

Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer gut ausgestattet, haben eine Salzkammergut Radtour gemacht und konnten unser Auto in dieser Zeit vorm Hotel kostenlos parken.

Pros:

Die Lage war toll. Nah am Geschehen und trotzdem ruhig. Ausserdem ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel. Der kleine Balkon mit Blick ins grüne fanden wir lauschig.

Cons:

Eine Klimaanlage wäre bei der Hitze schön gewesen. Es gab aber eine Standventilator.

Wir haben vier Nächte im Hotel Försterhof verbracht. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung, allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die unserer Meinung nach bei einem 4-Sterne-Hotel verbessert werden sollten.

Bei unserer Ankunft gegen 12 Uhr telefonierte die Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption gerade und teilte uns nur nebenbei mit, dass der Check-in erst ab 16 Uhr möglich sei. Das ist grundsätzlich völlig in Ordnung und auch so angegeben. Allerdings hätten wir uns gewünscht, zumindest nachfragen zu können, ob das Zimmer eventuell schon früher bezugsfertig ist. Als wir gegen 14 Uhr nochmals zur Rezeption gingen, bekamen wir von einem anderen Mitarbeiter ohne Probleme bereits unseren Zimmerschlüssel.

Was uns ebenfalls überrascht hat, war das Fehlen eines Mini-Kühlschranks im Zimmer. Während unseres Aufenthalts hatte es täglich zwischen 27 und 30 Grad. Laut Information im Hotel wäre eine Minibar gegen einen Aufpreis von 50 € erhältlich gewesen. Wir finden jedoch, dass ein kleiner Kühlschrank heutzutage zur Standardausstattung eines 4-Sterne-Hotels gehören sollte. Darauf haben wir bei der Buchung leider nicht geachtet, da wir davon ausgegangen sind, dass einer vorhanden ist.

Etwas enttäuschend fanden wir auch die Happy-Hour-Werbung in der Lobby. Dort wurde mit „Happy Hour – 2 Cocktails zum Preis von 1“ geworben. Am Abend wollten wir dieses Angebot nutzen, bekamen vom Kellner jedoch die Auskunft, dass es sich ausschließlich auf Cuba Libre bezieht. Das Schild war aus unserer Sicht irreführend und hat falsche Erwartungen geweckt.

Auch das Badezimmer wirkte nicht ganz auf dem Niveau eines 4-Sterne-Hotels. Die Toilettenbrille war deutlich abgenutzt und wies viele Kratzer auf, was keinen besonders gepflegten Eindruck hinterließ.

Am hoteleigenen Strand waren teilweise zu wenige Liegen und Sonnenschirme vorhanden. Einige Schirme beziehungsweise Schirmständer waren zudem beschädigt und sollten ersetzt werden.

Die Lage ist gut. Der Mitarbeiter bei der Rezeption hat sich bemüht.

Cons:

Das Personal im Restaurant war sehr unfreundlich, und der Kellner war sehr ungepflegt.
Das Essen gibt 2 von 10 Punkten. Auf Rückfrage, warum das Essen so mässig ist (teilweise ungeniessbar ist)
kam nur die Antwort das Essen ist doch gut :-( . UND der Preis war im Vergleich zu anderen Aufenthalten
total überrissen. Übrigens wir sassen von 18:30 bis 19:30 dort und waren die einzigen Gäste.
Da müsste sich dringend jemand von der Geschäftsleitung drum kümmern.
Beim Zimmer war ebenfalls das Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr schlecht viel zu teuer.

Our experience at this hotel was a dream!
Pros:

The location was incredible. Cannot be beaten. The staff treated us like family the entire time. The room was great. The smell of crisp mountain air in the mornings. We felt so lucky for picking a random hotel in a random town in Austria and to have an amazing experience like this. The nearby town is beautiful. The lake is beautiful. The mountains are accessible and incredible! Wow. Cannot state this enough. Absolutely wow. They even have a little beach area to relax at. This was the best experience of our lives.
