Hosts and staff made this solo trip really memorable, friendly, professional and really accommodating.
Nothing to complain about, only suggestion would be smaller food portion option in the restaurant maybe? Very generous offerings, but perhaps a smaller size option would be good for those with smaller appetites? Food tasted amazing!
The staff were amazing and very friendly.
The food inclinf breakfast was incredible and large portions. Opened at 5pm and filled up very quickly. Im not surprised. A lovely little gem. Would definitely stay again

We really enjoyed our stay. It comfortable, very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and cozy, and we appreciated the staff as they were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was a lovely place to stay and we would happily return.

The Dial inn was in the middle of quite a few coastal and interesting places to visit mostly around 10 to 20 minutes away
That was great to use the Hotel as a base.
The food was lovely and we enjoyed it very much, but one minor thing it was the same menu every night which maybe could have been changed now and again.

Food both evening meal and breakfast was very good
The breakfast was great! The main bed was big and comfortable.
The extra bed in the room is a sofa folded back into a flat bed. There is a metal frame running straight down the middle of the bed (the folding hinge) and it makes the bed unusable. This was pointed out to the manager who informed us that no one had complained before and the rest of the accommodation is full so there was no alternative. We could use the spare pillows in the cupboard to help cushion the metal frame. Luckily the main bed was a king so myself and my two teenagers shared but as you can imagine no one got much sleep and this is not what we booked and paid for.
There was also quite a lot of noise from the pub/restaurant downstairs with chairs scrapping on the wooden floor and chatter.
The property has recently been redecorated in a modern style which is great but the attention to detail in the cleaning is letting it down and making it look tired. (Black silicone in the bathroom and toilet seat sliding off the toilet each time you sit down.)
Check-in was also an issue. We turned up at 3:30pm and followed the instructions to use the side door but no one was there. We weren’t able to message ahead of time due to travelling and no mobile signal. Finally we got through to someone who came and showed us to our room but nothing was explained- breakfast, check out times, etc that you expect at check in.
We went straight to the shower to wash up after travelling so we could explore the area only to find a big hole in one of the towels.
So overall, a terrible experience and definitely won’t be back!

Staff very accommodating, we had issues with our travel and was going to arrive much later than expected. The person I spoke to on the phone who I apologise for not remembering her name was very courteous and stayed until we arrived.
