The staff speak fluent daily English, which is very helpful. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, including KFC, McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, Cantonese cuisine, Sichuan cuisine and hot pot. Everything you need for daily life is easily accessible.

During my free time, I visited Canton Tower and enjoyed the Pearl River Night Cruise. Guangzhou’s cityscape is truly amazing!

It’s very convenient to get to this hotel from the airport. The hotel also sent directions for Terminal 3 in advance, so the location is really easy to find. Check-in was quick—all I needed to provide was my passport. The room was clean, tidy, and quite safe. The hotel is in a quiet area, not right next to a main street. It offers a shuttle bus service to the exhibition center and even provides free VPN setup, which is fantastic.

A recepção providenciou um quarto especialmente bom, bastante espaçoso e tranquilo, com um restaurante muçulmano em frente. Também experimentei um hot pot, a refeição chinesa, e a experiência foi ótima.

O hotel oferece ônibus para o pavilhão de exposições, o gerente do hotel fala inglês e a comunicação é bastante fácil. É possível contratar um serviço de VPN para garantir a conexão com a internet na China, e a equipe também pode ajudar na compra de um chip de celular chinês para contatar os expositores locais. Todos usam o WeChat.

De manager tijdens mijn reis naar de beurs was erg aardig. De chauffeur die me na het vliegtuig oppikte, was ook vriendelijk en sprak een beetje Engels.

Het hotelpersoneel was ook zeer behulpzaam en hielp me geduldig bij het wisselen van renminbi bij de Industriële en Handelsbank van China.

Het hotel is niet ver van de beurs en er wordt een heen-en-weer busservice aangeboden. De bus stopt bij Zone B van de beurs, waardoor het erg handig is om naar elke beurshal te gaan.

Het internetprobleem, waar ik vroeger steeds veel hoofdpijn van had, is nu opgelost. Naast het helpen bij het aanvragen van een Chinees telefoonnummer, kan er ook internetdienst geïnstalleerd worden, zodat ik contact kan houden met mijn vrienden in mijn thuisland. Als ik weer naar Guangzhou kom, zal ik hier zeker opnieuw verblijven.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. I use the hotel’s airport pick-up service. I arrived in the evening, and the traffic was smooth.
The staff were very friendly and offered to help me connect to the internet right away. Best of all, they assisted me in setting up a VPN, so I could finally contact my family.
There is also a free shuttle bus to and from the Canton Fair, which goes directly to the venue. The hotel is conveniently located between the three exhibition halls, so it’s close to all of them.
The rooms are clean and tidy. Only guests staying at the hotel can access the upper floors by swiping their room cards, which makes you feel very safe.
I also learned something new: kapok is also known as the Hero Flower, and it’s the city flower of Guangzhou. It’s really beautiful.
I tried taking the Chinese subway, and it was amazing and incredibly modern.

It is a scam.

The hotel’s facilities are complete and well-maintained, and everything is clean and tidy. The service is excellent — especially the front desk staff, who were warm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Definitely a five-star experience! The staff’s attitude was amazing — highly recommended 👍. Hot water in the bathroom came on quickly, and overall, every detail of the service was thoughtful and well done.

From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient. They not only handled the check-in quickly but also kindly recommended fun places to visit nearby.

The room was spotless — not a single flaw to point out. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud, and I had a perfect night’s rest. The bathroom was well-designed with a dry and wet separation, and the toiletries were of good quality.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable — right next to the subway station, with shopping malls and restaurants all around. Breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of both Chinese and Western options, and everything tasted amazing!

With such great value for money, this hotel will definitely be my first choice when I come back!

Very comfortable room and breakfast with Asian food

The beds are very comfortable, the cleaning services in the room are good. The breakfast area is very clean, and serves tasty local food.

Property is poorly maintained and the entrance is near impossible to get luggage up.

I recently had a very frustrating experience with the XANA Deluxe Hotel Changgang Subway Metro Branch, and I feel compelled to share it.

I made a booking through Booking.com for a stay from November 26th to 28th. However, the hotel altered my booking dates without any prior notice or consent from me. To make matters worse, I was forced to pay the hotel directly for the entire stay, only to find out that the hotel also charged my credit card for the same booking via Booking.com, resulting in a double charge.

I contacted Booking.com to report the issue, and fortunately, they are assisting with the matter. But the entire situation has been incredibly frustrating. The hotel’s actions were not only unauthorized but also borderline fraudulent. I am still waiting for a resolution, including a refund for the duplicate charge and a guarantee that they will not make any further unauthorized changes to my booking.

I would advise anyone considering staying at this hotel to be extremely cautious. Double-check your bookings, monitor your payments closely, and be prepared for a potentially stressful experience if things go wrong.
