The decoration was so cute and the place was clean and quiet.
Nothing really, it was good
Clean. Really good price. Great people.
Next to the road(noise).
nasty judgemental pricks
Good price in Auckland with free parking
Too much toys and trinkets. Easy to be overwhelmed. Bed was very uncomfortable. 10 minutes shower, you can take longer shower but 1 session is 10 min. One guy didn't talk with us, he didn't even say hi, just starting all the time. Very noisy.
Right wing nut as host preaching unstoppable and unasked for about "holy Putin" and "Trump the savior"
Great place, parking right outside. A bit narrow to get into. Check in with the owner upstairs. Very clean and well kept. Loved the anime posters. Was watched over by Goku last night.
cleanliness
We stayed in room number 3, which is located right next to a very busy road in Auckland, with constant noise day and night. Unfortunately, the soundproofing is almost nonexistent, making it impossible for me to sleep, even with earplugs.
Given this situation, I asked the owner for a room change or a refund for the remaining nights (I had booked for 8 nights). Her response was particularly unpleasant—she strongly encouraged me to leave, implying that since I live in a van, I should be used to noise, and that if I “didn’t know how to travel,” I should just stay home. A rather surprising attitude.
If you’re a light sleeper, avoid this place!
Very friendly atmosphere and helpful staff
Clean and calm, close to the city with parking
Exactly as advertised, the room, the common areas etc are exactly the same as the pictures. For its price it was a good service. Shower was nice and hot, common areas we're not busy, a lot of stuff to cook with. People leave their stuff in a basket titled "free to use" so we ended up using some ramen and breakfast cereals from there. The owner/lady was helpful but we only saw her maybe twice.
The room isn't too big so if you have luggage there isn't any place to put them. Also its right next to the road and the windows don't have good insulation so you end up hearing a lot of road noise. The place doesn't have a reception so the check in was slightly confusing until the owner came in and showed us around.
Loved the ambience.
Wasn't enough parking space.
close to bus stop, off street parking
Very friendly owner and nice place! Easy access to bus station. Perfect for this price!
One bathroom is maybe not enough if all the rooms and chalets are fully booked… Even now you sometimes had to wait for a while. It is also a pity that the toilet is not separate from the bathroom.
Bed was really squeaky moved and thought boards might brake??
