The hotel is very well laid out - it is easy to find a quiet spot without too many other people around. The food is also very good quality and very reasonably priced. The spa facilities are great - I had a fantastic massage, facial and the best foot massage that I have ever had! I have sensitive skin but the facial was very calming. The rooms are amazing and very spacious and all the toiletries provided meant that I didn't have to bring these with me.
Using the spa vouchers that we had been gifted was not easy. I had messaged the hotel previously with the details and given the voucher when we checked in but even so they had not been taken off the final bill. Also I was not able to use the discount code on Batam Ferries - it also didn't work last time I travelled either.
Everything about Tempat Senang is bliss! The environment feels like you're really in Bali: perfectly architected, gracefully presented. The rooms are superb! I wanted to stay longer just to indulge in all the details of my plushly appointed room. The treatments are so good, I just drifted from one to another in the happiest possible haze. The team is super-warm, accommodating and totally focused on guests having a good experience. The products are all high quality. The restaurant serves delicious food and the staff there are totally charming. It's very quiet by the pool, so I could read and get lost in my own thoughts.
The restaurant would benefit from a wider selection of wines by the glass. Also, because the place and small and thus the number of guests is limited, visitors should be prepared to eat dinner early.
The rooms and service unberlievable.
The staff member in the restaurant tells you to eat early so they can go home early. The restaurant clearly states till 9pm. It was very very annoying as it really destroyed the atmosphere. A lot of people were complaining.
They were stingy, not putting the right amount of alcohol.

Love the serenity and calmness that this place offers. 2nd time here, we went back for the spa.. The spa is amazing and for a fraction of what you would have to pay anywhere else.. If you want to have a relaxing short getaway holiday then this is a place to go to. 1 hr by ferry from Harboutfront and you are away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A perfect secluded escape surrounded by nature—ideal for a short getaway from Singapore. The spa treatments are the highlight, offering a full day of relaxation with their own natural beauty products. The friendly staff made me feel genuinely cared for. While the breakfast selection is limited and room rates are high due to exclusivity, the overall experience was truly relaxing. Would love to return!
