Hotel Plaza Colon is a jewel in the heart of Granada
Pros:

This beautiful colonial boutique hotel is perfectly located right across from the central park plaza across the beautiful Granada Church. The plaza in istelf is a great colorful stop and the heart of Granada. The Spanish-Moorish colonial style of the hotel has been perfectly preserved. The interior gardens give you a sense of a plush tropical environment with trickling fountains and a very nice pool area surrounded by beautifully kept vegetation. The included breafast is served right across the lush pool and offers a wide range of options, including great coffee, ham, bacon, pancakes, different breads, Nicaraguan dishes, cereals, yogurt, teas, coffee, fresh fruit juices and the best eggs (any style) done a la carte for you. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful. The room was huge, great wifi throughout, beds were comfortable, AC was working great, nice TV, nice bathroom and quality toiletries and towels as well. We really loved this beautiful hotel. Its colonial style transports the guest to another era. I recommend this hotel 100%. I loved everything. I am a very picky traveler and have a keen eye for details and this hotel passed with 100%. This hotel was top for us.

Pros:

We loved our stay, the staff made everything so relaxed and easy.
Lovely rooms and communal pool area which was perfect to relax in after a busy morning exploring.
Right in the heart of the city, yet felt secluded and peaceful. Brilliant location, couldn’t have asked for better.
Everyone was so lovely and nothing seemed like a bother. Great communication from before arrival and arranging transport to checking out.
Delicious varied buffet breakfast with an egg station (&pancakes on the weekend!).
Great air con which came in handy. Bed was HUGE.
We enjoyed sitting on the bar terrace watching the plaza and people.
Reasonably priced tours (which were competitive in price from what we saw advertised around the city) that were enjoyable and felt tailored to us.
We thought it was excellent value for money and the staff really made it a great stay.

Cons:

Nothing - can’t recommend the place enough.

Great location, staff, and accommodations, but the room was full of mosquitoes!!!

Cons:

The room was infested with mosquitoes. I told desk staff, and she offered me some "off" spray. I was very surprised by the fact that there were far more mosquitoes INSIDE the room than outside, even in the evening.

Parfait pour visiter le centre colonial, dans de très bonnes conditions de logement.
Pros:

Situation idéale sur la place principale. Parking privé. Piscine dans l’un des 2 patios. Très bon séjour.

Cons:

Le bar ferme très tôt en fin d’après-midi, et absence de restaurant, en dehors du snack-glacier qui ferme aussi en fin d’après-midi.
