Perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis für einen Kurztrip nach Chicago!
Pros:

Tracye und Francis sind nette Vermieter, die jederzeit hilfsbereit waren!
Nachts war es ruhig, sodass schlafen sehr gut möglich war - was in Chicago ja nicht ganz selbstverständlich ist.
Es war sehr sauber und an Ausstattung alles vorhanden, was man so benötigte. Zudem konnte man in der Küche alles uneingeschränkt nutzen und auch draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen.
Man sollte wissen, dass man mit den Vermietern zusammen wohnt und sich Bad, Küche und Wohn/Essbereich mit ihnen (und Hündin) teilt - uns hat das aber nicht gestört, Tracye und Francis waren stets sehr rücksichtsvoll.

Top Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wir können die Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip nur empfehlen!

Cons:

Die Lage in Süd-Chicago ist nicht die beste. Abends empfiehlt es sich schon, ein Uber zur Unterkunft zu nehmen. Die Innenstadt ist tagsüber jedoch gut und sicher mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen!

A perfect place to stay if you drive to Chicago but want to get around using public transportation.
Pros:

Secure and comfortable spot. Easy drive to nearby metro service.

Cons:

Scary to walk at night to nearby metro stations.

Pros:

Bardzo ładny i bardzo czysty dom. Do dyspozycji gości jest prywatna sypialnia oraz wspólna jadalnia, kuchnia, łazienka i pokój pobytu dziennego. W domu znajduje się wszystko czego możesz potrzebować podczas wyjazdu. Odległość od centrum jest raczej daleka ale jest łatwy dostęp do różnej komunikacji (autobusy, matro). W pobliżu znajdują się dwa duże marekty. Okolica na pierwszy rzut oka nie wzbudza zaufania, ale przez cały pobyt było bezpiecznie, a spotykani sąsiedzi przyjaźni i rzyczliwi. Polecam na krótki i dłuższy pobyt.

Very Comfy Place in a Great House
Pros:

Comfortable, very quiet room with lots of amenities in an 1896 house. Welcoming, helpful host. Clean shared bathroom with good shower. Fast WiFi. Firestick TV (my favorite over Roku, Direct, Spectrum, or whatever). Shared kitchen, fully equipped. Safe on-street parking. Close to Washington Park, University of Chicago, and the Frank Robie Frank Lloyd Wright House.

Pros:

Breakfast was superb! We really liked the idea of combining cultures in a breakfast - grits (southern USA) and omelet (Cameroonian way). Tracye was quite helpful with suggestions of what to see in Chicago. The room also has a mini fridge which is a nice touch.

Cons:

While the house itself is on a quiet street in a quiet neighbourhood, a few blocks to the east is King Drive which is not the nicest street to walk on, and which, if you are coming from the green line, you may end up passing. We later found it was much nicer to walk, coming from the green line train station, along 63rd and then turn on to Rhodes to get to the accomodation.
