Pros:

La habitación cómoda y limpia.. El agua en su punto y la comida bien. Las personas de mantenimiento encantadoras. Las de limpieza igual.

Cons:

Las personas encargadas de llevar la parte de comida y restauración.. muy apáticas, les molestaba que se acabarán las cosas y no le reponían pronto con lo que tocaba comer la mitad de lo que había expuesto inicialmente. Si movías una silla de mas te miraban terrible.. y la persona encargada de recibir el pago y hacer la.papeleria en general igual. se nota que muchos no quieren trabajar allí.

Pros:

Exceptional stay – we lived here for a month

We stayed at Hotel Alcazar in Medellín for an entire month, and it was truly one of the best places we could have chosen.

The location is outstanding: a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, yet right across the street there is a large shopping center with great restaurants, cafés, shops, and beautiful green walking areas that feel like a small park. It’s perfect for relaxing walks.

Just a short walk uphill, a wide street is closed to traffic on weekends, and locals come out to walk, run, and ride bicycles. There is also a nearby university campus that is lovely to explore. From this area it’s very easy to get anywhere in the city.

The breakfast is excellent — fresh fruit, natural juices, eggs, and a variety of hot dishes. Everything is fresh and satisfying.

Since it’s an aparthotel, the apartments are very comfortable and well equipped: a kitchen, refrigerator, washing machine, hair dryer, and ironing equipment — everything you need for a longer stay. Housekeeping is available on request, and whenever we asked, the staff cleaned the apartment perfectly.

Most importantly, the atmosphere makes you feel more like you’re living at home than staying in a hotel.

We truly loved our time here, and if we return to Medellín, we will absolutely stay at Hotel Alcazar again.

Muy buena opción en El Poblado
Pros:

Muy buena ubicación enfrente del Centro Comercial Oviedo y un supermercado Carulla a pasos. En la zona tranquila del Poblado, muy bien.
El personal super atento, las habitaciones (apartamentos) super cómodos, bien equipados, y con lo básico para una estadía.
Desayuno limitado pero con opciones y muy buen trato del personal. Sin dudas volvería a elegir este lugar.

Nada que remarcar.

Nice apartment in convenient area
Pros:

The apartment was great, very spacious and had everything we needed for our 3 nights stay. The washing machine was very appreciated. The area is safe and very convenient with a nice supermarket across the street and the Oviedo shopping centre 5 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again if we return.

Cons:

The kitchen furniture was a bit dated and the windows do not provide sound insulation (like the majority if buildings in the city), however the background noise was not very disturbing.
The breakfast was also quite average, but it had the basics.

Amazing Hotel
Pros:

Without a doubt, Alcazar is a really really great option when visiting Medellin. The rooms are very spacious, have a full kitchen setup, and comfy bed. If staying with a family, this place is amazing. The location is perfect. Oviedo mall is in front of you with a supermarket (Carulla) in front of the hotel doors across the street. Santa Fe mall, which is amazing, is just 5 minutes away walking. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. From regular fastfood to fine dining. As for tour pickups and taxi, it's very centrally located near the main road/highway along the Medellin rivier.

Although there aren't a lot of pictures of the breakfast, it is really good. You get everything you are used to at a breakfast buffet. I loved the integration of local food items in the breakfast. The chocolate at breakfast tastes delicious. The staff is very friendly and always ready to assist you. And the view from the hotel is very nice.

By far the best hotel we stayed at in Medellin. And we'll sure choose this hotel when visiting again.

Cons:

Although the breakfast is great, I wish they could provide plain scrambled eggs when they have the scrambled eggs with pork ham. As there are a lot of people who are allergic to pork or don't eat it for religious reasons, it's great to get the regular option.

Muy agradable Estancia en Medellin
Pros:

Muy buen hospedaje, excelente ubicación, personal muy agradable, desayuno bueno. Pero sobretodo la ubicación muy cerca del Centro comercial, supermercado y farmacia.

Cons:

Haber tenido acceso a agua caliente desde el primer momento de llegada. Aunque después del segundo día nos brindaron una muy buena oferta

Great location next to Oviedo and Santa Fe malls. I would stay again, but bring some earplugs.
Pros:

The apartment was nice and with an awesome view. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The sofa should be replaced. It is worn with lack of support but was still functional. Not the hotels fault, but the street motorcycle noise was relentless especially at night. Good thing I was on the 12th floor.

El desayuno muy rico, se contó con variedad.
el sector super tranquilo, muy muy cerca hay dos centros comerciales: El Oviedo y Santa Fe.
