I have stayed in Sri Lanka for the last 11 days in different hotels and this one by far has the best hospitality. The owner and his son are so kind. They helped me with so many things, where do I start? Firstly, I'm a Muslim and needed to pray but I didn't have a prayer mat, they arranged it for me. They proactively booked Colombo bus tickets for me. Cooked food with less spice as per my request. When I was going out, they asked me if I needed umbrella and gave it to me. I overstayed few hours after my checkout and they were so kind to accomodate it. Finally, when I was leaving, the owner saw that I was carrying a half empty water bottle and asked if I needed water and gave a bottle of water for free. He even followed up with me on Whastapp to check if I arrived home safely! They are just so kind and hospitable! This place has my highest recommendation! You can book this place without any worries and you will get the best of service.

Very warm welcome and exceptional service. We had a short 1-night stay here and it was perfect. The staff gave us some very good tips to visit a tea factory and we loved it! It’s a little outside the center which makes it much more quiet than staying in the busy area.

Lovely hotel, good facilities. I was staying in their lake view room, which was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean.

The hotel was really nice, and the staff were very supportive. He guided us during our trip, and he’s such a humble person as well as a great chef! The food was delicious. Overall, a fantastic hotel.

De gastvrijheid van Aruna was onbetaalbaar. Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen tot aan het einde voelde het zó ontspannen. Hij is behulpzaam en vriendelijk zonder opdringerig te zijn. We waren te laat om onze trein tickets te boeken naar Ella, maar hij heeft elke dag, ‘s avonds tot laat en ‘s ochtends vroeg online gekeken of er toch geen nieuwe tickets beschikbaar waren. Eindstand kon hij op het laatste nippertje 2 plekjes voor ons bemachtigen.
