Good place to stay
Pros:

Lovely hotel, good facilities. I was staying in their lake view room, which was beautiful. The room was spacious and clean.

Cons:

Nuwara Eliya as a location didn't meet my expectation, the weather is harsh and the people are not so respectful, I was cat called on the road. Nothing much to do and extremely gloomy. The hotel is very good though.

Il titolare sicuramente molto gentile e buona colazione

Cons:

La camera era fredda, abbiamo patito davvero molto freddo tutta notte. Al risveglio c’era talmente tanta umidità che i vetri della finestra era bagnati internamente e il pigiama/ magliette che non erano in valigia erano fradicie.

The hotel was really nice, and the staff were very supportive. He guided us during our trip, and he’s such a humble person as well as a great chef! The food was delicious. Overall, a fantastic hotel.

Uitmuntend gastvrijheid
Pros:

De gastvrijheid van Aruna was onbetaalbaar. Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen tot aan het einde voelde het zó ontspannen. Hij is behulpzaam en vriendelijk zonder opdringerig te zijn. We waren te laat om onze trein tickets te boeken naar Ella, maar hij heeft elke dag, ‘s avonds tot laat en ‘s ochtends vroeg online gekeken of er toch geen nieuwe tickets beschikbaar waren. Eindstand kon hij op het laatste nippertje 2 plekjes voor ons bemachtigen.
Verder super lekker ontbijt en avondeten hier!

Cons:

Het kan hier best fris worden en veel regenen, wat uiteraard geen verantwoordelijkheid is van het hotel, maar hier zijn ze niet helemaal op voorzien. Er lag maar een dun lakentje en een dekentje en er is geen verwarming om kleren te laten drogen.

Pros:

Amazing service, great foods, and rooms, all furtuniture are just beautiful.
Though it's far from a central city area, you don't have to look for a resturant. They have great selection of menu.

This area is very chilly, thus hot shower saved me:)
Want to visit here again with more relaxed schedule...

Pros:

We boekten de goedkoopste kamer. Prijs/kwaliteit is prima.
We raden aan een luxere kamer te boeken, die kamers hebben prachtig uitzicht over t meer.
Mooie wandeling gemaakt vanaf t hotel oa langs t meer.
Hoteleigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en aardig.
Regelde voor ons treintickets naar Ella, héél fijn!!!!
Nuwara Eliya is beslist de moeite waard.
Wij bezochten de theeplantage Elookabie en genoten aansluitend van een high-tea in t Grand Hotel.
Beide geweldige ervaringen.

Tiene restaurante para cenar y Dan buen desayuno.

Cons:

Tuvimos frío en la habitación fuera niebla que no vimos el lago. Escaleras para llegar a la habitación. Un poco lentos para dar de cenar . Muy .ala carretera para llegar tiene un gran desnivel.

La struttura è una casa in stile coloniale molto bella ed elegante. Il gestore ci ha offerto del tè appena arrivati e ci ha cucinato la cena la sera che siamo rimasti lì ed era buonissima. Ho apprezzato molto che il gestore ci ha contattati il giorno del nostro arrivo per sapere a che ora saremmo arrivati e se necessitavamo di un tuk tuk che ci venisse a prendere in stazione

In camera e nella struttura in generale, la sera fa un po' freddo e non c'è il riscaldamento. Noi siamo stati una sola notte ma per un pernottamento più lungo occorre avere abbigliamento pesante, altrimenti si soffre un po" la temperatura serale
