Pros:

In dem Chaos einer Stadt war es eine kleine Oase auf dem Weg von Abydos nach Kairo. Der Nilblick war o. k.Aber ohne Palmen etc. - das Fruehstueck reichhaltig.

Cons:

Sohag als Stadt ist nicht interessant

Leuke uitdagende locatie
Pros:

Locatie aan de Nijl, lux hotel volgens Egyptische begrippen. Een aantal gereserveerde parkeerplekken. Er komen weinig Europese touristen, daardoor maakten ze zich zorgen over onze veiligheid. Diner was lekker.

Cons:

De locatie is spannend. Ze willen dat er een beveliger mee gaat als je naar buiten gaat. Wij vonden dat niet nodig maar kregen op straat veel aandacht. Daardoor zijn we thuis gebracht door een politieman. Maar we voelden ons niet onveilig. Sfeer op straat was goed.
Ontbijt was simpel maar dit had te maken met de rammedam (na zonsopkomst).
Kamer en badkamer eenvoudig maar schoon.

Real Gem, best hotel in Sohag right on the Nile.
Pros:

The location overlooking the Nile is beautiful. So lovely to watch daily life and the City at night. Yes is noisy but that's in most Cities across Egypt.

Cons:

Bath could be bigger.
