Kayaking was free of charge and we really enjoyed it.

I undetstand that visiting Cambodia at the end of rain season is kind of brave, but...
All over the room there was a smell of wet and mold, while in addition the bathroom smelled with sewage.
From the A/C smelled with mold as well and despite the fact it worked the whole night - we and all our stuff was moisty.
Bed sheets smelled bad and were stained.
Hundreds of ants were everywhere inside the room.
The mattress was awful, during our stay in Cambodia I never saw such uncomfy mattress.
The stay was expensive and totally dissappointed us.

Cons:

Booked for 5 nights. We were bitten by ants in our bed on first day.
They moved us to another room which had rats inside at night. .
They offered us another room but gave us a partial refund on our insistence.
They kept $50 booking.com commission.
This place is isolated run down the river beach is covered with rubble, there is slippery slime growing around the pool.

Pros:

😊 The resort was good, we enjoyed the swimming pool, boating, ball game ect. Rooms were comfortabl. Have dinner one time it was average. Free breakfast was good.
😞 BBQ stand they rent for 20$ which I think it's expensive infact they can give BBQ stand free if we buy BBQ things from resort.
Many Bicycle tire have no air they can maintain it.
Kitchen closing time early may be around 9 or 10pm should be ok.

Location is not well known by tuktuk drivers nor by the locals.
Resort should seriously consider setting up the customer pick-up service and shuttle service between resort and the City. These are essentials to travellers with no car !

Great stay in Koh Kong
Pros:

We just LOVED our stay at Nov Koh Kong Resort!
The villa was great, spacious, clean.
The swimming pool in front of the river.. perfect view!
The staff is super nice and really friendly. The manager was really helpful - could organize tour or call for taxi.
The restaurant Was delicious ! We eat every night.. great menu - choice for everyone !
The breakfast was very good. 9 different choices and coffee, tea, orange juice and fresh fruits!
Our family enjoyed every minute of it!
I forget to talk about the incredible sunset!!!
Thanks Nov Koh Kong Resort for having us!

Pros:

It’s located just outside Koh Kong, which is actually an advantage—it’s peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. The nearby mangroves are fascinating, and a visit to the stunning Tatai Waterfalls, about 15 km away, is highly recommended (ask the manager for details). Another highlight is the on-site restaurant, which offers a great menu, complemented by the impeccable hospitality and helpfulness of the entire Nova Koh Kong team. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with comfortable beds ensuring a restful stay. Everything was excellent—I truly felt at home.
