We stumbled across Tea Heights and Spa on Booking.com and instantly fell in love with it. We were searching for something truly special as the highlight of our Sri Lanka trip, and this turned out to be the perfect choice for our anniversary.

Sadly, we had already spent two nights in a city hotel in Kandy, which was a nightmare. We really regret not booking Tea Heights for the full three nights. The property has a wonderful policy of hosting only one couple or family at a time, which meant we had the entire place exclusively to ourselves – a rare and unforgettable experience.

The food was outstanding: delicious, home-cooked Sri Lankan dishes, beautifully presented. Chef Damith was a real star, even doing a live cooking session just for us. The views are nothing short of magical – from our bedroom we woke up to breathtaking scenery, and the restaurant offers a 360-degree panorama that is simply spectacular.

Thilina personally took us on their private nature trail, which was both peaceful and informative, giving us a taste of local plants, spices, and wildlife. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive – their level of anticipation was unlike anything we’ve experienced before.

The spa was another highlight. Madushan, the therapist, genuinely has golden hands. We had several massages during our Sri Lanka trip, but his was by far the most exceptional – an unforgettable treatment.
Tea Heights and Spa exceeded every expectation. It gave us privacy, luxury, and heartfelt hospitality. We will absolutely return for our next anniversary.

I planned a surprise for my partner, and Tea Heights and Spa turned out to be the perfect choice. Our friends recommended this place, and we’re so glad we listened. From the moment we arrived, we noticed how fresh and brand new the hotel feels. Most hotels in Sri Lanka tend to be outdated, but this property stands out with its modern design and top-class decor.

The whole experience felt romantic and intimate, just the two of us surrounded by peace, nature, and a beautifully designed space. It was the kind of place where you can truly disconnect from the world and connect with each other. If anyone is looking for a honeymoon spot, this is definitely the place.

A special mention goes to Chef Damith, who cooked the most authentic Sri Lankan meals we’ve ever tasted. Knowing that most of the ingredients came straight from their garden made every dish even more memorable. His food added so much warmth and soul to our stay. And Ganesh, the room boy, made us feel completely at home with his thoughtful service and kind nature— he truly made our experience extra special.

I felt completely like at home during my stay. The atmosphere was so warm and family-friendly. The food was the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka – absolutely delicious! The surrounding attractions were incredible, including the most beautiful Buddhist temple I’ve seen which they opened just for us. It was truly a special experience. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

I was truly surprised by how wonderful the place was. The property is not only perfect for those who appreciate comfort, but also for those looking to explore the nearby cultural sights. The team at the house went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable! The attention to detail and warm hospitality truly made our experience exceptional.
