Die Lage ist sehr zentral, aber auch sehr ruhig. Das Hotel hat großen Charme, was auch auf die jahrhundertelange Tradition des Gebäudes zurückzuführen ist. Der Hausherr, Sr. Luis, hat sich sehr rührend um uns gekümmert. So hat er uns immer das Tor zum Parkplatz geöffnet und uns zu einem Restaurant persönlich begleitet, damit wir gut ankommen und das richtige Ziel finden. Er kennt sich super aus in Zipaquirá und hat alle Fragen zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit beantwortet. Obwohl er schon fast 80 Jahre alt ist, war er zu jeder Zeit für uns ansprechbar. Sr. Luis hat uns das Gefühl gegeben, zu Hause zu sein. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir wieder dort übernachten!

Estuvimos muy bien atendidos por don Ángel, que le hace honor a su nombre, desde tu llegada te acoge en su hogar, una casa preciosa y llena de encanto, además te asesora sobre actividades y recomendaciones de la zona. Estamos muy agradecidos por sus atenciones, muy recomendado.

I loved the colonial design of the hotel and how quaint it was. It was very clean and had modern ammenities. The owner is very friendly and gave us some excellent tips and where to eat and where to go out and have fun. It was within walking distance of the main town squares and some excellent restaurants and bars.

We chose this location based on the charming photos of the hotel and its proximity to La Catedral de Sal (the entrance to the park is only a 5-10 minute walk away). But what really sets this hotel apart is the hospitality and generosity of the two brothers who operate it, Rafael and Gabriel. They were so attentive, kind, and informative, providing plenty of recommendations not only for exploring the neighborhood but for further travels across Colombia. That being said, the location really was perfect—we had multiple fantastic meals at the restaurant Indulto across the street, and la Plaza de la Independencia (a hub of bars, restaurants, and general activity) is also a mere five minute walk to the north.

Brilliant position in the old centre. Big room with super bed. Old, character hotel. The owners are too kind and helpful. I was ill one night and they were so concerned and helpful
