It was spacious clean and safe

Cons:

The owner was unreachable. I paid a resort fee but wasn't entitled to the same things the guests were. Treated second rate on the beach not given lounge chairs bec I booked private. I didn't get replacement toilet paper.

Uncomfortable, Unsafe, and Disappointed
Pros:

The area and the facilities outside of the unit were nice and comfortable.

Cons:

This was a 2 bedroom unit. There were 2 major problems that we notified the person who rented this place to us immediately, but I never received a response from him. We notified him of these issues within 30 minutes of when we checked in, and he never responded despite the fact that we spent 3 nights there.

1) A man walked into our place using a code and was found opening a backpack in the living room. When he was confronted, he claimed he was looking for his backpack and then left.
2) Showerhead in one of the bathrooms didn't work, so this was a problem since there were 4 of us staying there.

We were told that this unit was owned by the person who rented it to us and not by the hotel, so they couldn't do anything to help us with the person that broke into our unit or our broken shower. Staying right by the beach should have been an awesome experience, but we felt uncomfortable and unsafe the whole time. Since the owner didn't do anything to address this, I would greatly appreciate it if booking.com could do something to make this up to us.
