I have had the pleasure of staying at several five-star hotels on numerous occasions, but this experience was truly in a class of its own.

I would like to give special recognition to Ilayda- She is much more than just an employee — she is a true ambassador for the hotel and a remarkable asset to the team. Her professionalism, genuine warmth, and exceptional ability to anticipate and follow up on guests’ needs are truly impressive.

The way she creates a personal connection with guests and ensures that every detail is taken care of reflects the highest standards of hospitality. Her dedication and personality are a significant strength for this hotel, and she deserves special appreciation.

My Family and I, total 7 people stayed at the property for 8 nights. It is a Great Location, right opposite the old town. The property itself was very nice. The staff was extremely helpful from the Valets to the guest relations team. Especially Mr. Mehmet and the full valet team, Milena at guest relations and IIayda Yilmaz both gave us some great tips about places to visit and eat near and around Budva.
We had planned a day out on the boat and the guest relations team arranged lunch boxes for us which was extremely thoughtful. The breakfast was exceptional. The servers were very attentive and the service was excellent especially Shehwar who always greeted us very warmly in the mornings and was ever so attentive!. All in all an exceptional experience. Will definitely stay at Merit Starlit again!.

Un vrai 5 étoiles avec un vrai sens du service et professionnalisme du personnel aux petits soins pour vous renseigner et votre confort. L appartement est spacieux, les matériaux de qualité et petit plis pour le bateau de l hôtel qui vous amène sur la plage privée d une petite île en face loin de la foule… on y a passé 3 nuits, le choix du petit déjeuner est incroyable avec style européen mais aussi turc… un délice!!! Bref on fait souvent des 5 étoiles mais celui ci est particulièrement de haute gamme. Proche de la vieille ville à pied pour les balades du soir. Enfin le restaurant zeytoun by merit en face est délicieux avec des spécialités turques tellement bien cuisinées. Allez y les yeux fermés !

Our stay at Merit was fantastic; from the beautiful and modern interior of the rooms and hotel, to the private beach and boat transfer, the stunning Onyx Rooftop Bar and, most importantly, how caring and attentive the staff were- I have stayed at many hotels in Montenegro over the years during my summer visits and this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed at. I look forward to coming back! Thank you so much to the staff for making our stay so memorable. :)

​• The Suite & Cleanliness: The suite was unbelievable—hands down the best we have ever stayed in! It was huge, incredibly luxurious, with thought put into every single detail. Housekeeping was mind-blowing; every time we returned to the room after cleaning, it felt like we were stepping into it for the very first time.
• Exceptional Service: The staff is insanely professional, kind, and attentive. They literally make you feel like royalty. Room service was fast and flawless.
• The Breakfast: Without a doubt, the best breakfast we have ever experienced anywhere! Massive variety and incredible quality.
• Location & Views: The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The location is the absolute best in Budva—right on the promenade, close to everything.
​From the suite to the casino, the food, and the service—everything was 10/10. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
