Upali's Place

This is a lovely, simple room with a nice patio and great hosts. It was particularly handy that there was a tea kettle and dishware. There is only one unit, but it is separate from the family's home so it is very private. Note that the photos of the view are not from the patio, they are from the view point that is very close by.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war super. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und der Besitzer sehr freundlich.

We loved the location of this place, close to the Kandy viewpoint. There is a bar/restaurant opposite which has a lovely view across the town. The owner and staff were helpful, we enjoyed our stay.

J'ai été accueillie par une femme adorable avec café et petits gâteaux. Kandy est accessible à pieds (15min environ). La chambre est annexe à la maison, avec son accès. Elle est très propre. Le wifi est excellent. Il n'y a pas de climatisation, mais le ventilateur est suffisant.

Stanza pulitissima, forse una delle migliori incontrate in tutta la vacanza. Posizione leggermente lontana dal centro, ma proprio per questo estremamente tranquilla e sicura.

Superbe localisation : à deux pas du centre mais au calme, dans les hauteurs. Idéal pour une escapade rapide à kandy.

オーナーご夫婦には大変親切にしていただき、心温まる最高のホームステイになりました。ここでの1泊は、私のスリランカ旅行でとても印象深いものとなりました。
お部屋は清潔で、蚊帳もあったので、ぐっすり眠れました。立地もよく、キャンディ中心部や駅も近いです。到着時と翌朝に、美味しいウェルカムティーとモーニングティーも振る舞っていただきました。
偶然にも、オーナーの旦那様は、5年間日本で働いていらっしゃったそうで、日本の話で盛り上がりました。現在はタクシードライバーをされており、キャンディツアーも組んでいただけるようです。私は旅程上、ツアーはお願いできませんでしたが、アーユルヴェーダ薬局（Bowatte）まで徒歩で行くつもりと話したところ、一緒についてきてくださりました。おかげで交通量の多い中でも短時間でスムーズに到着することができました。キャンディ内での顔も広いようで、おすすめのお店も紹介してくださいました。
次回、キャンディに来たときは、この宿を利用し、ツアーもお願いしたいと思います。

La famiglia che ci ha accolto è molto gentile e disponibile, la stanza è pulita e confortevole. A disposizione tazzine e bollitore, te e zucchero.
A piedi si raggiunge il lago con una breve passeggiata di 10 minuti.

Camera carina con tutti i comfort (tavolo, appendino, credenza, luce da letto etc), terrazza carina e comoda.
A 10 minuti dal centro raggiungibile a piedi, ma abbastanza lontano per non soffrire del caos della città. Vicino al Kandy view point dove trovare molti tuk tuk.
Ci hanno visitato in giardino delle innocue scimmie, è stato molto carino.
Pulito e confortevole, c’era l’acqua calda
