Airbnb not hotel

The location is good, just near the central station. It was quiet overall and was able to sleep.

Cons:

They do not give you the room in advance even if they have one. They just tell you check in is after 15:30. The check out was 11:30 and i was called in the room 11:15 and announced check in is at 11:30. I said ok, i need 20-25 min. They said ok and then they called at 11:30 and told me if you do not get out of the room now, we will charge 300 ntd and you have until 12. Ofc i needed 10 more minutes and i had to pay 300 ntd. This never happens to an actual hotel. I did not keep the room another 2 hrs or so. Apart from this, they do not clean the room during your stay, you have to announce a day before if you want to have the trash taken out or towels change. Why are they even called Hotel?! This is shitty airbnb not hotel. The cleanliness was meh also. The reception is not non stop also.

Pros:

Hotel is in a great location - virtually opposite Taipei central station. Lobby is dark as not as inviting as it could be. The room is clean but the couch/seat is dirty. The bed is comfortable and the room is quiet. The bathroom is higher than the bedroom for our room and require stepping up to it. Only stayed one night so it was passable.

The filthiest hotel I have ever visited
Pros:

Location was alright

Cons:

This hotel is a masterclass in neglect. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the oppressive stench of dampness and age. The walls, which might have been white a few decades ago, are now a stained, sickly yellow. Even worse, the gaps between the wall panels are packed with years of accumulated grime

The ac unit is caked in dust and crawling with tiny black bugs. Running it triggered coughing fits all night as it circulated filth around the room.

The shower is a biohazard. Black mold has taken over the walls, the ceiling, and even the showerhead itself.
When we raised these concerns, management’s solution was to offer an air freshener a laughable response to systemic filth claiming they were too full to move us.
Don't be fooled by the high rating; they essentially bribe guests for five-star reviews with "extras." This place is a relic of 25 years ago that hasn't seen a cleaning crew since. Avoid at all costs.

ロケーション抜群！
Pros:

皆さんがレビューの通り、ロケーションが抜群。台北駅前の新光三越の隣のブロックにあるマクドナルドが入っているビルの11階がフロントデスクです。
周囲にコンビニ、飲食店、ドラッグストアとなんでもあります。
シャワーの水量はたっぷりで、備え付けのボディーソープ、ジャンプーは香りが良く、また、さっぱりと洗い上るのにかさかさせず、とても良かった。

Cons:

今回は珍しく、フロントデスクが閉まっている22：00過ぎにチェックインとなりましたが、自動チェックイン機が名前を入れても予約が検索できない。何度トライしてもダメなので、電話でスタッフを呼び出し来てもらってチェックイン。これは良くないですね。
もうひとつ、滞在中、PCで作業しようとしてもWiFiが弱くて作業できず。2台持ちのスマホの1台は現地のeSIMを入れているから連絡関係はなんとかなりましたが、エレベーターホールまで出て行かなければWiFiが使えないというのは良くないですね。
また、施設の決まりなので仕方ないことですが、コインランドリーを使えるのが24時間ではなく、21：30まで。着替えを多めに持って行って良かった（笑）。

Great location
Pros:

Very convenient location, walking distance from Taipei Main Station and surrounded by many good food. The staff is always friendly and even provided a free upgrade as I was staying a few nights. Room and bed was comfortable.
