Service at the hotel can be improved a lot,no staff at the hotel after 9 pm,no one to provide you drinking water after the time.And food can be improved a-lot too.Not upto the standards as per the price.

Noise, noise and more noise.
Pros:

The location was central
The room was very clean and would have had great views, but we were unfortunately fogged out during our stay.
The bed was comfortable
Room was serviced every day
The staff were polite

Cons:

The main issue here is the NOISE. The interior layout and poor acoustics are a recipe for a lot of noise. The reception area is in an open space a few metres from the rooms. There are also no soft furnishings , like curtains and carpet to absorb the noise. You will hear the phone conversations clearly, people entering and leaving and just walking around on the hard floors. The staff talking to each other.
The most annoying is a machine in reception that beeps loudly 5 times every 50 seconds.
Apart from that machine, it does quieten down late at night, but the excessive noise can start as early as 6:30 am.
This all adds up to no sleeping in and no resting at all.during the day. Pity as there are no other external noises like traffic, etc.
I.complained about the noise to the staff, but it made no difference
It's the poor placing of the reception area and the poor acoustics.
Also, fix the broken toilet seat in room 202.

It’s cozy and very convenient. The quintessential Darjeeling is right out of the doorstep.
Pros:

Location, location, location. (Right on the famed Darjeeling Chowrasta [mall]). The staff was extremely cordial.

Cons:

That it gets locked at 10 pm — cannot go in or go out after 10 pm
