Tolle Lage aber viel „Luft nach oben“….

Die Lage ist sehr gut

Cons:

Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber extrem schlecht. Obwohl uns schriftlich angekündigt war, dass man uns wohl von der Fähre abholen wird, war niemand am Anleger. Es war dann auch niemand bei dem Zimmer. Mit Hilfe von Einheimischen haben wir dann Verwandte des Betreibers gefunden. …
Nicht gefallen hat uns auch die unschöne lieblose Einrichtung des Zimmers und die Tatsache, dass beim Duschen sofort das gesamte Bad unter Wasser steht und sogar bis in das Schlafzimmer läuft, weil der Abfluss total mit Haaren verstopft war (ich verzichte auf ein Foto)

Pros:

L'atmosfera è molto caratteristica, si apprezza molto il silenzio, il patio è molto carino, le zanzariere top. La padrona di casa è molto dolce e accogliente, così come Niky, che ci ha prelevato al porto e accompagnato fino alla casa. Un soggiorno estremamente piacevole reso anche tale dalla simpatia dei locali!

Cons:

Uniche note negative: un certo odore di chiuso all'interno degli armadi che ci ha sconsigliato di mettere i vestiti all'interno e il wifi non funzionante.

Décevant et peu accueillant
Pros:

Propre, situé juste derrière la place principale (Arki est tout petit de toute façon)

Cons:

Gros loupé à l’arrivée : il n’y a personne sur place donc j’ai appelé, attendu 30mn que quelqu’un vienne et on m’a finalement envoyé à la taverne en bas, où tout le monde était en plein service à 15h, et la chambre n’était en fait pas prête. Je comprends qu’il y ait des ratés mais la communication a été vraiment mauvaise et j’ai finalement attendu plus d’une heure pour accéder au logement sans voir personne. L’attitude générale est loin de l’hospitalité habituelle des Grecs, on ne se sent franchement pas accueilli.
Sinon la chambre est propre mais sans charme et la salle de bain très basique, ce qui serait ok en soi mais du coup c’est cher pour ce que c’est (même si tout est plus cher à Arki)

A stay here will fulfil quiet and old-worldly stay.
Pros:

Arki is still a quiet and in some senses remote beautiful little island. It has to be assessed with that background. The rooms were ‘archintiko’ old-world and a refreshing change from modern rooms. A lovely little patio garden. Close to excellent tavernas and a boutique café. Super views. Generally very quiet. Very helpful owner/family. Most things were good value. Lovely even smaller islands nearby with a taverna via boat hire.

Cons:

Mosquitos and to lesser extent flies can be a problem - come prepared.
Bathroom shower needs a retainer/tray to reduce water spreading. Plus bring your own toiletries.
