Room is 2metres in front of a very large, popular seafood restaurant; 500 people from the city descend on the terrace and beach in the evenings - no privacy.
Every night, the music was so loud the windows of our room vibrated, decibel meter read 95dbs. On one evening, by 22:30 we had to ask twice for it to be turned off even though the restaurant was empty bar one table at this point.
Sliding door to room with no way to lock from the inside, a random child came in one morning.
Bedroom also backs onto restaurant kitchen so there is a lot of noise coming in from there too.
Bathroom door did not close.
It's a shame because this is such an idyllic and beautiful location. If only the owners would do more to prioritise the experience for its homestay guests as much as the daily passing restaurant customers.
