Besser geht nicht - genauso muss ein Hotel geführt werden!
Pros:

Es war alles absolut perfekt. Das Personal super freundlich, die Anlage top, wunderschöne Zimmer, das Frühstück ausgezeichnet, leckere Speisen und Getränke an der Poolbar erhältlich. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Pros:

Everything about this place was amazing. The room was super spacious, clean and bright. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and cozy. The restaurant in place was amazing and the food was super fresh and delicious especially the orange pie with ice cream. The staff were super nice and friendly. Loved every single moment there.

Le lieu est très joli et les personnes qui tiennent ce lieu sont adorables
Le petit dejeuner est excellent
La piscine est jolie même si elle est peu profonde et étroite
A noter que vous pouvez être loges dans une annexe de l hôtel, donc pas forcément dans le bâtiment principal, ce que je n avais pas compris, mais ce ne fut pas gênant
La localisation est appréciable pour profiter du calme de la Messara après être passe au Nord et au sud ouest, le site de Gortyna a proximité est extra ordinaire! Le village de Agia Deka charge d histoire est tres agréable avec des habitants tres hospitaliers
Les repas et boissons sont bons même si chers

Cons:

La kitchenette n ́'est pour ainsi dire pas du tout équipée pour cuisineri; certes il y a des plaques, mais pas de poêle ni de casserole, ni de torchon, ni de liquide vaisselle, il y a seulement une machine a café et une bouilloire avec le minimum d assiettes verres couverts.

La musique autour de la piscine est trop présente et genante si on souhaite se reposer..
A l heure où tout le monde peut choisir d être au calme ou écouter de la musique via ses écouteurs, cela nous a franchement gênés notamment le dernier soir le samedi ou elle était beaucoup trop forte et nous a fait quitter la piscine, pourtant elle très agréable

Il manque le rideau ou une protection pour la douche, l eau se répand sur le sol

Wij verbleven hier voor ons babymoon en dat was perfect! Iedere ochtend een fijn ontbijt. De accommodatie is rustig, weinig kamers en echt een plek om lekker tot rust te komen.
Iedere dag wordt de kamer schoongemaakt en niks was teveel gevraagd!

Cons:

De accommodatie is in het binnenland. Ongeveer 30 minuten rijden van het strand. Ook niet echt heel veel eet gelegenheden of een boulevard met eetcafeetjes/winkeltjes in de buurt. Dit was voor ons prima en wisten wij van tevoren. Juist de rust en nog veel minder toerisme was heerlijk. Er zijn wel genoeg eet mogelijkheden maar liggen allemaal wat verspreid in de buurt en daarvoor heb je wel een auto nodig.

Hidden gem in Crete
Pros:

We had a really lovely stay at St Ten Stone Built Village. The setting is peaceful and full of character, with beautiful traditional stone buildings and a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and the whole place felt well cared for.

A special mention goes to Aphrodite, who was especially friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She made us feel very welcome and was always happy to give advice and help with anything we needed, which really made a difference to our experience.

Overall, a great place to stay if you want somewhere calm, authentic, and welcoming in Crete. We would happily return.

Pros:

Es ist sehr besonders da. Wie man aus anderen Bewertungen bereits entnehmen kann, ein Dorf im Dorf. Ich habe selten etwas mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gesehen. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch das kleine geschaffene Dorf selbst, sind wirklich wunderschön. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Man ist schnell mit dem Auto an sehenswerten Orten. Bspw. Matala. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich. Das Essen war gut. Für mein empfinden ist das „Mamas cooking“ ein wenig teuer im Verhältnis. Dennoch lecker. In der Nähe gibt es ebenfalls ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Eine gute Gelegenheit dem stressigen Alltag zu entfliehen und mal eine andere Seite von Kreta zu erleben. Absolute Empfehlung.

Pros:

We had an exceptional stay at Stenstone Built Village.
The place is absolutely beautiful, very intimate and peaceful — perfect for relaxing and enjoying Crete. Everything is thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail, which makes the whole experience truly unique.

The homemade breakfast was amazing, especially the granola, which was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had. You can really feel the quality of the products and the care put into every preparation.

The welcome was warm, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere authentic and relaxing. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back again.

Die Anlage ist top. Man vermisst nichts. Alles da

Als Booking com. Urlauber bekommt man trotz Superiorbuchung nur die Hinterzimmer im Nebengebäude ausserhalb der Anlage. Bilder vom Hotel passen nicht zusammen, mit dem was man erhält. Pool, Bar und Restaurant befinden sich aber in der Anlage. Nachdem wir beschlossen das Hotel zu verlassen, bekamen wir andere, 200% bessere Zimmer. Booking com. sollte hier was tun ! es ging uns im nächsten Hotel genau so. Wir haben 3 Stunden Urlaub gestritten!

Ten Stone ist unser Lieblingshotel bei Matala. Ein wunderschönes Hotel, dass sich anfühlt wie ein Dorf.Man braucht ein Mietauto. In ca.20 Minuten ist man damit in Matala. Das Hotel, das Dorf, die wunderschöne Taverne, die traditionelle Kirche mit den Menschen und Tieren, die sich dort auf dem Kirchplatz treffen, das gute Essen....einfach perfekt

Pros:

Wat een heerlijke plek. De ontvangst was al amper fijn. Wij hadden een prachtige kamer met een geweldig uitzicht op het kerkje tijdens zonsondergang.
Een mooie, ruime, fijne badkamer. Een heerlijk terras. Fijne ligbedden bij het zwembad

Pros:

Excellente surprise! Ensemble de plusieurs maisonnettes fraichement rénovées autour de l'église, de façon très soignée. Bravo pour cette conservation du patrimoine de village ! Accueil aimable, quoiqu'encore un peu hésitant par manque de pratique. Logement bien équipé, lit très confortable. On a beaucoup aimé cette expérience.

Cons:

Quelques suggestions d'aménagements complémentaires: il manque un élément portant supplémentaire pour poser ses habits dans la chambre, et une tablette pour poser ses affaires de toilettes dans la salle de bain du bas. Rideau de bain. Un élément textile dans la pièce du bas éviterait qu'elle ne résonne.
En cas de fraicheur ou de météo changeante, un pièce d'intérieur pour prendre le petit déjeuner serait appréciable (ouverture prochaine de la taverne?)
Petit déjeuner pas mal, mais encore un peu trop de produits manufacturés. Ce serait encore mieux si tout était fait maison; le cuisinier semble compétent.
Diner correct, on a vite fait le tour de la carte.
Un schéma explicatif pour se rendre au parking serait plus simple que 5 min d'explications pour 200m à parcourir.
