Waikiki beach cozy studio no resort fee

The worker is disillusioned about safety. The bed is supposed brand new, however the middle support post falls onto the floor leaving a 1/2(?) inch boards attempting to safely hold the bed. After trying to get the owners to fix this… they lied and said it’s fine. (Please see pictures below)
To avoid breaking the bed, I was forced to sleep on the floor the whole time.
Also although there is a WiFi router there, it is not actually have any WiFi. I think it’s a fake connection or a fake password.

The smart TV did not work and and it took a couple of days for the manager to get it fixed. The drawers in the dresser did not work very well as they were very difficult to open and close. The pool was quite large but the water was a bit cold and the jets in the hot tubs did not work. When I returned one day to the room I saw a half dead roach on the floor. There was no other evidence of insects.

I have managed major hotels for over 30 years and a few comments:

1. Queen Bed had one bed sheet and you need a comfortable heavier top sheet/bed cover - we used the beach towels for this!
2. All faucets, and bath hardware need tightening up and new washers to operate smoothly
3. Sloppy mess of wires to/from TV internet etc should be bundled up and neater to look at - Wi-Fi address label about to fall off
4. Lights! A bedside light and plugs for electronics would be nice.
5. An instruction sheet to detail hotel ice / pool / services would be helpful in the room
6. Ice bucket - need
7. Bed drawer/console - over half of drawers broken on rails or not working - need fix

Supply more blankets. Maybe extras for the rest of the days ppl stay there. More trash bags as the trash has to be taken out every day.

Shampoo and conditioner bottles were all used
No screens on windows
Window blinds was way shorter then windows
Blood under bed sheets
Tv Cable was not working
Had to pay for additional parking(expensive)

First off I Got to the hotel with no key in the lock box so I had no choice but to buy a 20$ key from security to get in my room they said the cleaning lady forgot to put keys back in lock box. Then I was told I would get reimbursed that very next day but I haven’t received my 20$ back till I was at the airport heading back home. If I wouldn’t had pushed for my 20$ back I would have never gotten it back. I know it’s only 20$ but it’s the principal.

Unfortunately not a lot to like. Handles were falling off furniture not to mention how cleaners could miss the foul stench as you walked in the room which made us dry reach. After several phone calls to management a security guard ( not maintenance person as instructed) came and agreed that no one could stay in the room. My husband and a friend found the smell which was the drip tray under fridge which looked like it had never been cleaned , it was mouldy and putrid. After much reluctance a 2 night stay was awarded in a different Motel until room was cleaned. Room needed a lot of maintenance work for it to be even occupied.

Can hear noise from neighbouring rooms

The studio has "no resort fee" in it's name, but it charges something like a cleaning fee, besides the room rate.
This is a vice typical for some US accommodation. It would be fair if the advertised price would be 1 final number like in many fair countries..

It did not say that parking was $45 a day.
