Staff were incredible. Food was fantastic- just be sure to place your order ahead. I didnt have any issue with noise from the balloons. Loved the garden! Such an oasis!

A gem! The location is perfect for visiting the west bank and even better if you are planning a hot air balloon flight since the take off field is right next door. The garden is fantastic - a true oasis. Having breakfast here with the hot air balloons floating above is just heavenly. Samantha is very welcoming and accommodating, also helped arrange some transportation for us. Although there is no full kitchen on the premises, you can order a delicious dinner which they serve perfectly in the garden near fire pits. Very romantic!

Beautiful B&B on the West Bank of Luxor. The sites could not be any closer. Samantha and her staff are wonderful. Relaxing in the gardens in the evening were major highlights.

Samantha, the owner of the Bab Al Samawy Hotel, is a wonderful host. She is always approachable, attentive to guests’ needs, and responds swiftly. The hotel staff are equally pleasant and efficient. The gardens are beautiful and offer a well-deserved moment of relaxation after a long day. Breakfasts are generous and delicious. A delightful discovery!

The property was beautiful and felt very authentic. It was next to the hot air balloon launch site which is a beautiful view at sunrise.

The oasis garden is the selling point. It is beautiful and is where breakfast is served.

Samantha the host is amazing. She organised all our tours, booked our restaurants and organised our taxi/travels. She made this trip very rememberable.

We booked a tour with a guide and driver. The driver is definitely worth it. We found that the guide had lots of information that he was happy to recount, but was unable to answer random questions that maybe were outside of his learning.
Bear in mind also the guide cannot enter the tombs with you.

We would recommend a driver, a good guide book and having data on your mobile so that you can look things up.

The host made us so welcome as well as her staff. The garden is a hidden treasure.

I loved the thought, the style the hospitality infused in this little oasis. Will definitely recommend and go back myself if I am ever in Luxor. Samantha, the owner was a fantastic host, helpful, responsive and just a great person to have a chat with.

Fantastic stay! We loved it all. Super comfy bed, hot shower, we stayed in a beautiful room with a balcony. Very private too. Couldn’t ask for a more fantastic hotel close to the hot air balloons. Was magical watching them from the balcony in the morning. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Samantha couldn’t have been more helpful- with absolutely everything!- food, drivers , recommendations etc. She really made our stay special. Will be recommending to stay here for anyone visiting Luxor

What a great place to stay! Samantha and her team are very welcoming and super nice. The accommodation and the garden are stunning. Our room was large and clean. The breakfast is plentiful and served in the garden. Getting up at sunrise snd watching the balloons take of is a wonderful experience. Unfortunately we only had one night, but it was a highlight of our trip to Egypt.

Great property and location. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the garden is wonderful. We also enjoyed the food. Service and friendliness if staff and owner were exceptional.
