Great place, extremely friendly staff
Little noise, work in progres in all this area
Staff was friendly
Staff was friendly and that was the only positive part. Everything else was disappointing. The rooms are old, the wall paint is damaged from moisture, and there is a construction site working 24/7. They use perforators, so you can imagine how loud it gets. It was a disaster. But again, the staff was good.

Sonia very good room clean
Paco Hotel Taojin is a very clean and beautiful property with a friendly, calm, and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are absolutely wonderful—very helpful, patient, and kind. They helped us numerous times with ordering items for our room, navigating the area, and even assisted with laundry when we couldn’t get there in time by hanging the clothes for us.
The hotel has a laundry room with access to an open terrace balcony, which was a lovely feature. Tea, coffee, and water are available in the waiting area and laundry room, which adds to the comfort and relaxed environment.
The location is excellent—close to many amenities, with inexpensive taxi access and shopping nearby. It attracts very diverse travelers, which makes it feel comfortable and welcoming no matter where you are from. We met some wonderful people during our stay.
A special mention goes to Sonia, who is absolutely amazing—always helpful, honest, and genuinely caring. She made our stay feel personal and stress-free.
The cleaning staff are also excellent. Bedding can be changed daily upon request and is generally changed every two days. The rooms have large windows, clean, creative, modern furniture, and a mini fridge. The bathroom is spacious with a shower and bath option, although the sliding doors are a bit heavy.
The hotel is very accommodating—they stored our luggage, allowed a later check-in, and made it easy to extend our stay. We originally booked for four days and ended up staying an extra week.
It’s also a great option for Muslims, with plenty of halal food and restaurants nearby.
The main issue was the TV, which only had Chinese channels with no subtitles or option to change the language. Although the staff did try to help, the settings were locked. Considering the international travelers the hotel accommodates, this is something that could definitely be improved. We ended up paying for a monthly subscription (45 RMB) just to be able to understand what we were watching. This doesn’t reflect on the staff, but rather seems like an internal policy issue.
The laundry room could benefit from more washing machines and dryers, as there are currently only two of each and the hotel is often busy.
It can also get loud due to construction directly opposite the hotel. However, the hotel provides earplugs, and after a few days, you do get used to the noise.
