Deer Hill Rest Kandy

Siamo stati accolti come fossimo dei figli da questa meravigliosa famiglia che ha condiviso con noi la propria grande villa. Persone accoglienti, generose, discrete, super disponibili a chiarire ogni nostro dubbio o ad accogliere ogni nostra richiesta, ci siamo affezionati così tanto che ci è dispiaciuto andare via! La casa è perfettamente pulita e silenziosa, la stanza spaziosa e ben arredata, i pasti sono buonissimi e vari, sia la colazione che la cena, quest’ultima si può fare su richiesta direttamente in casa. Il miglior alloggio della nostra vacanza in Sri Lanka, magari un giorno torneremo!

Helt fantastiskt vistelse jag hade mycket omtänksam familj och jag kände mig verkligen hemma, damen i huset var så kärleksfull påminde mig om min mor, allt var mer än jag förväntade mig, tusen tack och hoppas vi ses snart igen . Tack .

La guesthouse é molto accogliente e la famiglia super disponibile, non è vicinissimo a Kandy, sono circa 30 min di auto, per cui se avete un driver che vi lascia ovunque senza problemi ok, se come il nostro si aspettava di dovervi accompagnare nel centro di Kandy, potrebbe farvi storie. La camera é ampia, ben tenuta, anche un po’ sopra la media delle guesthouse cingalesi, colazione buona e adattata anche a gusti “occidentali”. Intorno non c’è molto, i pochi locali chiudono presto, noi per cenare siamo finiti a comprare noodles al supermercato ma fortunatamente la cucina della casa era disponibile.

La casa és molt bonica i els amfitrions molt amables i servicials, ens han tractat molt bé. L'esmorzar era molt bo, i el sopar també.
Té una terrassa amb vistes espectaculars a la natura

Wir wurden von allen Gastgebern sehr herzlich und warm empfangen, mit viel Freundlichkeit und Fürsorge, weshalb sich der ganze Aufenthalt sehr heimisch angefühlt hat. Wir haben zu viert zwei Nächte hier geschlafen und wenn wir abends in der Unterkunft angekommen sind, konnte man super zur ruhe kommen, weil man sich sehr wohl gefühlt hat. Das Frühstück hat fantastisch geschmeckt und hatte eine gute Auswahl. Es liegt nicht zu nahe am Stadtzentrum weshalb man Nachts ruhe hat. Die Fahrt ist auch nich zu weit und dauert knapp 10 Minuten. Wenn wir das nächste Mal Sri Lanka besuchen kommen wir auf jeden fall wieder hier vorbei!

Very beautiful and spacious house and bedroom with access to a terrace and rooftop terrace with pretty view. Very kind and helpful people. Public bus, shops, gym, local Ayurvedic therapist and small restaurants walking distance. Place was very clean. There was wifi however no internet.

The family is focused on aiding your personalized travel experience. The property is a beautiful large house constructed of hardwood floors and personalized to feel like a home. For about half of my stay I was the only traveler there, and so they upgraded my room and it felt like I had the whole house to myself. The breakfasts were large, varied, and delicious. The balcony view sat above the river with a lush mountain view. As a bonus, the owner manages a nearby gym, which is included in the price. I always try to workout in the mornings, but in general, finding decent gyms in Sri Lanka is challenging, so this is a rare amenity and at no additional cost!

Very hospitable hosts, good location with a nice view, big rooms, lovely d the stay here, will definitely be back
