Very clean throughout the hotel. The breakfast catered for all with many options and juices, teas. Everything replenished. We will definitely be back again this year. The KidsInn was lovely and clean with great toy options, TV, books and soft toys. Also comfortable for adults to sit and play too.
Cannot fault anything
Perfect
Perfect
Great location . Comfortable and very child
Friendly
Found it a little pricey very basic . Food but drinks very expensive for what it is .
Breakfast was good
swimming pool was not clean on the first day
The staff were excellent, they were fantastic with kids and everything was so child friendly
Nothing
Nothing really. Very outdated and really needs updating
Felt rain down and dates. The bed was horrible and lumpy
The highlight was definitely the pool! My kids loved it, and it kept them entertained for hours. We also enjoyed the Kidz Inn area, which was a wonderful play space for the little ones. It's a great spot for kids to play while parents relax.
Breakfast was another treat. The green breakfast buffet offered a variety of kid-friendly options, and the adult pricing was very reasonable, making it great value for families.
Our family room was spacious and comfortably fit all five of us. It was nice to have room to spread out and enjoy our time together without feeling cramped.
I do have a small suggestion for improvement. It would be great if they could offer amenities like toothbrushes, robes, and slippers to enhance comfort.
Very good breakfast
Indoor pool always good temperature
Staff very friendly and always available
Room very quiet
Good location to visit Southampton and Portsmouth
Nothing to add
Room, facilities, parking and breakfast all great. You do have to pay extra for parking but there’s plenty of spaces.
A cleaner letting themselves in to the room when we were still in there
The hotel and room was clean and the bed was comfy. Didn't use any of the other facilities in the hotel.
When I booked, I had asked for bed raisers for a mobile hoist during the booking process on booking.com. It wasn't questioned and when we arrived at the hotel, I enquired about the bed raisers and was assured it will be looked into. I asked repeatedly from checking in until we arrived back at the hotel at around 8pm when it was revealed that they didn't have any and it was too late for us to find our own solution - it was a bank holiday weekend on a Sunday and all the shops were closed. So my wife couldn't comfortably transfer from her chair to the bed and she slept in her wheelchair. She did not have a good night sleep.
I was refunded our night stay and we went to a different hotel for the next night of our stay in Southampton.
Overall not a bad hotel, I just wish more care had been given to our request of bed raisers, so we had time to organise our own solution.
Layout of the ground floor. Room for everyone, nice quiet spaces and kids playrooms.
Keycard to the room kept locking us out. Sometimes few times a day.
Staff were fantastic , car park was adequate , location for what we wanted was great and the cost was reasonable.
The bed was a little too soft for our liking.
