Hostal El Eden Dentro del Parque Tayrona

This is an awesome family-run little spot, right inside the park. We were SO GRATEFUL to be inside the park when it unexpectedly shut down! We had a whole day with the park and beaches almost entirely to ourselves, and we were set since we were already in :) Simple accommodations, clean, yummy food that you're so grateful to have hot and ready for you when you're back from a long day of trekking! Cabo San Juan is about 2.5-3hr hike (40m of that is just the part on the road, which you can grab the collectivo bus for), and the closest beach is La Piscinita, a 1hr hike (again, just 20m once you're at the parking lot). Don't miss the "9 Piedras" mindful jungle walk by the entrance as well, it is one of the local indigenous (the Kogui) tribes' orientation (with signs in Spanish) to some of the meaningful formations.

El alojamiento está super prolijo, limpio, cómodo. Lo mejor de todo es la vista que tienen las cabañitas, realmente hermoso despertarse viendo tanto verde, las montañas y los guacamayos.

We were received by a very friendly family that went out of their way to make our stay in the park comfortable and special. Every day they took our order for dinner so that when we came from our day of hiking in the park, a warm and delicious meal would await us.

The location of this hotel is a little off the main road that leads to the entrance of the park, in the middle of a forested area. There are two ways to reach it from the main road. In the morning breakfast is served and the hotel is visited by Macaws that are not at all afraid of humans and curiously come to the restaurant area and sometimes even climb up to sit on your shoulder. A unique experience! Macaws are known for returning to the same spots often, especially to eat something, so chances are high you will see some up close at this hotel.

The room was a little stone building with a bathroom ensuite. All quite basic, and without airconditioning. With the flat roof it gets very hot inside. There are fans to keep you a bit cooler at night and over the couple bed was a mosquito net to protect from biting insects. As we spent all our daytime hiking and exploring the park, the basic room suited our needs to just sleep and therefore met our expectations.

We left very early to take a flight elsewhere. For a little fee the owner and his son brought us and our luggage by motorcycle to the entrance of the park so we could catch the bus to Santa Marta there. It is possible to walk to the entrance but it is a good 1-1,5km and with suitcases not the most comfortable way.

All in all, we had a great stay in this wonderful park and great accommodation. Wholeheartedly recommended!

P.s.: the wall plugs at the terrace in front of the hut are a very useful and smart addition! We sat outside till late because of the heat inside. It allowed us to charge our equipment. Also the WIFI worked perfectly in and outside the room.

Tout c etait parfait

Wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern. Der Parkeintritt wurde für uns organisiert, womit wir super viel Zeit gespart haben. Es gab leckeres Essen vor Ort. Die Zimmer waren super. Mit Ventilator völlig ausreichend ausgestattet.
Uns wurde sogar bei der weiterfahrt nach Cartagena geholfen

Todo fue excelente. La atención de los propietarios hizo nuestra estadía más agradable. Este lugar es hermoso y la estadía fue increíble.

Las vistas son increíbles, el amanecer es muy bonito y hay muchísimos pájaros y otros animales, pudimos ver tucanes y guacamayos.
El personal es muy amable.

El lugar esta a 15 minutos de la entrada al parque.. se disfruta de la tranquilidad del lugar. Son muy atentos. La naturaleza se vive a flor de piel.

Das Hotel befindet sich im Park, vom Eingang El Zaino gelangt man mit dem Bus-Shuttle zum Hotel. Von der Straße sind es 2 Min. zu laufen.
Die Hütten sind neu, hervorragend ausgestattet, mit sehr guten Lüftern, Moskitonetzen usw.
Die Inhaberin kocht, und das macht sie sehr liebevoll und gut.
Der Inhaber kümmert sich um alles. Da man im Nationalpark übernachtet, kann kurzfristig der Strom ausfallen. Das Team tut aber alles, um das schnell wieder in Gang zu bringen.
Wir hatten ein Schlüsselbund vergessen, und die Inhaber sind zum Eingang des Parks El Zaino gefahren, um uns bei der Rückfahrt den Schlüssel zu bringen! Das war so hilfsbereit und super nett.
Die Hütten liegen inmitten der Natur am Eingang des Parks. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und konnten die Wanderungen durch den Tayrona-Park bestens genießen.
Wir hatten zwei unterschiedliche Bungalows gemietet. Schauen Sie auf den Bildern, wie liebevoll und hochwertig die Ausstattung ist!

La ubicación, el personal del hotel muy atento.

El personal es muy majo y amable; la comida está buena. El entorno es muy bonito y la cabaña es sencilla pero está muy bien. Empezaron hace poco, por lo que aún faltán detalles a mejorar, pero en general muy bien para vivir la aventura en el Tayrona.

Tutto! Si tratta di una piccola struttura dentro il parco, aperta da meno di un anno in una posizione immersa nel verde e ben curata. La abitazione capanna era deliziosa e spaziosa. La cucina del ristorante sana e genuina. Mi hanno anche proposto un servizio di massaggi eccellente di cui ho usufruito: rigenerante dopo la fatica nel parco. Armando, uno dei gestori, un uomo di una gentilezza immensa. È stato un piacere chiacchierare con lui. Grazie El Eden!
