I stayed at this hotel in Chiang Mai for my race and while the overall experience was okay, I was very disappointed with the service. The hotel itself is acceptable, but the receptionist staff were not friendly or accommodating at all.
I was charged 100 Baht for checking out just a few minutes after the official check-out time, even though I had checked in at 4 AM. While the charge isn't a huge amount, the lack of flexibility and the way the situation was handled left a bad impression.
Because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this hotel or recommending it to others. Customer service is key to making a stay enjoyable, and unfortunately, this hotel fell short in that regard.
Cheap and the location is close to tourist attractions shopping malls, restaurants, and bars. The room is private with shower, airconditioner, TV, kettle and a fridge. the ceilling is high and spacious.
The wall is pretty thin to the point that you can hear guests talking and walking up and down stairs. No elevators so if the guests stay at the 4th floor with luggage, it will be very inconvenient. Suitable for tourist with minimal luggage.
The place was affordable for a solo traveller private room. I also found that the service was matched to the standard I would expect for the price - the staff were flexible in letting me merge multiple bookings, stay in the same room etc.
The room was quite dark because the windows didn't let much light in, the bathroom wasn't dirty, but had clearly been well-used, and the tiled floor and cold lighting made it feel a bit sterile at time.

The mattress is so hard. No elevator. The room has smell and there are big exhaust fan pipe from toilet on the bed head.

Super nice staff and clean room. Really good location too. Wifi was good on the 1st floor.
The room on the ground floor was noisy and I had to sleep with earplugs. Airplanes can be heard but stop at midnight (for now). The room lacked a proper chair for the desk but there was ok desk in the lobby area.
