Very poor quality hotel highly over rated by booking.com
Pros:

First of all, as soon as I arrived ,the staff said room booked by you is very small...2 people cannot stay, would you want an upgrade - when I saw the room, it was very very small...no place to even keep luggage
I was offered a higher variant room at extra cost...had to pay extra for heater and more importantly basic requirements in a room were not offered...everything including towels had to be told...
Next day morning I spent close to 1 hour getting the flush to work including the team

Was this the reason that you kept room amount non refundable??

Good property...budget friendly..but the incline towards the hotel from the market is steep.
Pros:

Mostly everything. It was value for money. Very congenial staff. Some minor repairs in the bathroom are needed.

The hospitality was great. The view of kanchenjunga was awesome from our room. Don't miss their cafeteria as it is mind blowing.

The walking from Mall road reminds me of the trekking. Despite this everything was great and recommendable.

Pros:

Breakfast and dinner were good. The views of Kanchenjunga from the rooftop are majestic! The shower gets very hot which is helpful in winter.

In the winter, the room just gets very cold. You may decide you need to use their heaters, for extra charge.

Not a very memorable stay
Pros:

The courtesy extended by the Manager Rohan, who helped me procure a thermometer at 10:30 pm when all shops were closed.

Cons:

1. The slow service at the restaurant and not able to handle too many guests at a time.
2. The rude behavior of the front office when I requested for an extra blanket at 3 am on 20th Dec 2024. I told him that my daughter is sick and the guy said we don't have extra blankets.
