Being honest about this hotel
I always booked this hotel when I come visit my friends but this time the room was so dirty like the carpet was old and the bed sheets smell like that never been wash and under the window was DIRTY I can tell they don’t do vacuum because I can see sweets and stuff. The buffet isn’t good quality is better you get ur breakfast from a cafe and is a better quality then here.
Location.
Understaffed
Everything you needed was catered for.
There was absolutely nothing to complain about.
The food was good. I liked that you had egg cups, as this was an issue I had in a 5-star hotel. The dinner beef was beautiful.
Sausages need to be improved. Carrots at dinner were very hard. I had asked for a quiet room. I understand they gave me one over the carpark, but the kitchen fans were on, and it was noisy not sure if staff stayed in the room before, so I said I would mention it. Also I asked for a fan as there was no air conditioner.
The staff were lovely and the room and pool was grrat
More wardrobe space in the bedrooms and vegitatian breakfast optiond
The gals who worked the front desk were awesome and represented the hotel extremely well.
The pool hours are hardly accessible, perhaps to limit community members at the pool, and required swim caps and the rental of a towel, but so limiting for guests' schedules. The pool was smaller than the picture portrayed it, and, to my understanding, the jacuzzi hasn't been operational in two years. It was the selling point for me, while I was to walk the Kerry Camino to ease the tight muscles.
The food was mediocre. I had the chowder, which simply seemed reheated. I had a junior burger meal on the patio and it was rougher than shoe leather, but I ate some because I was famished. When I complained, the manager complained that I should have stopped eating it sooner! He obviously doesn't know post-Camino hunger. The fries were the saving grace. I got a much better kids' cheeseburger at McDonald's. The manager admitted it looked horrible and would talk to the cook - but the cook should have known better than to serve it.
Everything was ok, personally felt the portion sizes were very small for the prices being charged for dinner specials
Better atmosphere from the staff would have been nicer
Very clean bathroom and bedroom, plenty of towels and toiletries, the staff were lovely.
The hairdryer didn't work but I managed without. I would have liked a top sheet but this seems to be no longer a thing (maybe still provided in 5 star hotels)..
Comfortable stay. Staff were good, food was excellent, and the location is great with a beautiful park and mall right in front of the hotel.
The swimming pool is a bit old and could use some renovation. The kitchen staff were not too kind.
I booked the Brandon Hotel for 1 night only so that I would be able to attend the funeral of a
my good friend of more than 30 years. I have no fault to find with anything. e.g. staff/friendliness/facilities/location/helpfulness/cost. Many thanks for same!
It would have been nice to have a box of tissues in the room - just because I suffer a lot with sinus problems. Some of the communal furnishings (e.g corridor carpets could maybe be upgraded). This is not a negative comment - just saying! Certainly not a big dea!!
The location of the hotel is excellent with ample parking behind the hotel. Receptionists were very warm and friendly during check in and check out.
My only issue is that there are no electrical sockets near the bed as I needed one for my cpap machine and was unable to use is as nearest socket was about 9 feet away.
Pool was nice rooms were dated and hotel was overall grand.
Staff could have been more friendly upon arrival and throughout the stay.
Tired interior. Staff were ok but not overly welcoming or helpful.
Great location in the town centre. Lovely park directly opposite. 3 great Italian restaurants within 100m. Parking is secure out back of hotel
Our room was directly above the main entrance and the hotel bar. Really loud noise from people drinking on a Saturday night. No water in the room.
