A little piece of heaven on earth

If you are looking for a charming, local, authentic and non-pretentious experience, this is a must! Roberto and Felicia made this place a home for you. We read many reviews before we booked, and everyone was talking about how beautiful the place is and how lovely our hosts are. And we are not disappointed! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open heart and felt home immediately. The place has a stunning view, we could not believe how lucky we were to have chosen it! Roberto and Felicia are a lovely retired Italian couple running this business with love. Every morning we were offered something slightly different for breakfast, and they do lunch and dinner in their kitchen, with tasty homemade Italian and Dominican food. They also know all the info about how to get around and where to go in this area. They have a lovely dog called Seda that became our best friend during our stay. The room is spacious with two double bed, equipped with two fans. And the pool is open 24/7! Felicia also offered us delicious Italian desserts 🍮 to taste. The local girl (sorry did not get to know her name) who worked there is super sweet and always smiling, you can tell that they all love what they do :) If I come back to Las Galéras, I’d definitely stay here again!

Cons:

Almost nothing really. The wifi is a bit weak but that’s very common in this city. For people with limited mobility, there is a bit of climb to get to the property. I was nursing a hip injury so walking up the hill carrying my luggage was a bit tough.

Fantastische Lage & Aussicht
Pros:

Die Aussicht inklusive Pool ist traumhaft. Das Ehepaar ist super freundlich und zaubert tolles Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen).

Cons:

Der einzige Aspekt sind die Matratzen, die sind leider etwas unbequem. Ansonsten alles top.

Die Aussicht ist! Die gepflegten Häuschen bieten reichlich Platz und zum Wohlfühlen. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Gastgeber: Das Ehepaar ist unglaublich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben Silvester gemeinsam gefeiert und getanzt – es hat sich wie ein zweites Zuhause angefühlt. Auch kulinarisch wurden wir verwöhnt; das Frühstück und Abendessen waren hervorragend. Ein weiteres Highlight sind die versteckten Traumstrände, die man bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen!“

Een paradijsje
Pros:

Een paradijselijk verblijf. Prachtig uitzicht op de zee vanuit de tuin en het zwembad. De super vriendelijke gastvrijheid van Felizia en Roberto. Ontbijt is elke morgen een feest. Felizia tovert de lekkerste gerechten uit haar keuken met een Dominicaans- Italiaanse toets. Op mijn verjaardag hebben ze een bbq georganiseerd, een chocolade taart gebakken en hebben we gedanst en gezongen. Vanuit het verblijf kan je te voet naar verschillende Playas. We zijn er meer dan een week verbleven omdat we geen afscheid konden nemen van dit paradijsje
