Flower Of Life Hotel

The location of the guest house is fantastic, on the west, calmer side of Luxor. It is at the end of a very quiet road, surrounded mostly by fields, but still a short 15 min walk from great restaurants, shops and the public ferry that takes you to the east bank. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a refreshing glass of guava juice. Mahmoud, the owner, is the kindest host and has the best team - attentive, reactive and always available. He fixed the minor issues we had in our room without delay and arranged for us transportation within Luxor and to the airport at a very early time at a reasonable price.

The breakfast is homemade and quite tasty, with the right balance of sweet and savoury, featuring local products such as falafel, watermelon, guava, bananas, eggs and buffalo cheese. On a day we left very early for the Valley of the Kings, he arranged for our driver to stop by a sandwich shop where we had the best falafel we have ever tried. The pool was very clean and well maintained and offers a welcome respite from the heat and sand of Luxor. The pool area is a restful oasis where you can recover from a long day.

Having stayed in different hotels in Egypt, the Flower of Life is great value for money and a place we will come back to when visiting Luxor again.

The staff were really welcoming and kind. Breakfast is great and so was dinner. There are self service drinks available 24h. The rooms are beautiful and the outside areas are really well kept including the pool. The location is 5 min walk from shops and 15 min walk from the ferry terminal, but surrounded by farmland at the far end of a really quiet road. We couldn't have felt more welcome.

Accueil Chaleureux, Mahmoud est très gentil et de très bon conseil. Un séjour dans la perfection ! Le petit déjeuner est très bon !

La disponibilité du personnel, Abdela à été d’une gentillesse sans nom et au petit soin avec nous durant tout le séjour, le gérant lui nous as accueilli les bras ouvert et à été réactif par what’s app. Le logement est agréable, au calme et la piscine est très convenable. Nous recommandons sans hésitez, si vous souhaitez des vacances familial.

This is an amazing option if you are looking to be in a quiet area after a long day of visits. The view from their roof terrace is superb and the best place to have coffee in the morning. The pool is a plus if you have children or not, and the food is delicious and home cooked. Everyone at the hotel was very kind and super friendly. It is also walking distance to the Nile where you can find more restaurants and the taxi boats to go across the Nile to Luxor and Karnak. We did everything with a guide and it is worth the price as it makes everything easy.

Mahmoud nous a même laissé la chambre gratuitement jusqu'en fin de journée le jour du check-out car nous avions un train de nuit le soir.

Breakfast was excellent. The host prepared it early for us. The host was very gracious and kind.

The staff were excellent, they were extremely welcoming and helpful, and genuinely friendly. Mahmoud offered to pick me up from the public ferry terminal, making it very easy to find the hotel, and he was always available to ask for assistance with anything. The other staff were great too!

The breakfast was amazing! A big mix of fresh, local food that was enough to last me until dinner. The location was outside of the main town with mostly fields around, so was much more peaceful and relaxed. But was only a 5-10min walk to the town center and riverside.

Overall, I loved staying here because they really care about their guests and I was made to feel very much at home.

Oh and the pictures of the hot air balloons are not photoshopped... they really do come very close sometimes!

Perfect in every way, great stay

Flower of Life was immaculate during our stay — spacious rooms and well-maintained common areas. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning and absolutely delicious, with a good variety to satisfy every appetite. The owners were exceptionally helpful, generous, and genuinely friendly; they went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Overall, a warm, comfortable stay we highly recommend.

Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Le coin est calme et à distance à pieds du Nil et des restaurants. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et aidant. Ils sont présent pour aider en tout temps. Le déjeuner est gros est très délicieux. La vue de la terrasse est exceptionnelle. Je recommande!

Phòng rộng rãi, sạch, đẹp. Nhân viên rất thân thiện và hỗ trợ nhiều cho khách. Có thể nhờ khách sạn đặt xe đến các điểm tham quan rồi tự mua vé. Anh chủ khách sạn còn cho mượn thẻ để quẹt mua vé vào cửa (Các khu đền đều không thể mua vé bằng tiền mặt). Đặc biệt cho check-out muộn.

Had an amazing stay at this hotel—can’t say enough good things about the hospitality! The owner is incredibly kind, and the guy who helped with our luggage was a total star: he gave us a enthusiastic tour of the area, pointed out local spots, and kept checking in to see if we needed anything (even offering to help with directions later!).
When we wanted to extend our stay for another night, the original room was booked—but the owner went above and beyond: he offered us a two-bedroom, one-living-room apartment downstairs at a huge discount! This was a game-changer for our group of three—we each got our own bathroom (no more waiting!), which made our stay so much more comfortable. We were over the moon about this upgrade!
The hotel’s vibe is truly special: the decor is in Nubian style (think vibrant patterns, traditional motifs)—it’s unique and full of character, like staying in a piece of local culture. And the courtyard? Adorable! There are a few friendly cats that love being petted—they’d curl up on our laps while we drank coffee in the morning. Such a sweet touch!
