Belle chambre rustique et chaleureuse. Typiquement péruvien. Vue de la démarre époustouflante et très belle cour intérieur pour un moment de repos ensoleillé.

Basically slept over in this hotel for one night. I have to admit that overall architecture remind on some historical town. Especially the main garden with arches in circle. Closely resembling that scene where Odysseus comes to recruit Achilles. You’ll understand when you see it.
Staff was helpful, when asked. Location is a bit outside the city. Transportation recommended to those feeling effects of an high altitude.
Nonetheless, when I arrived to the room to have shower, I couldn’t get hot water. Waited for something like 5-10 minutes. Until I start feeling chills. That is why I will deduct one point for sure.

Other than that, it was nice place to stay.

Everybody complains online about the breakfast. I found it excellent! Maybe they have change it due to the complaints, ours was great and with a ridiculous amount of options even for vegans

The location was beautiful and just outside of town. The rooms were equipped with heated blankets, which could be controlled on both sides (my husband sleeps warmer than me, so he appreciated that). Everything was relatively clean.

2 Canadian friends enjoyed our 1-night-stay that was booked through Exoticca. Beds were very comfy with a heated blanket. The days were warm but nights got a bit cooler. The shower ran warm...
A walk around the property was delightful. Flowers were still blooming! There was a round tower that I climbed to the top to get pictures of Chivay.
The restaurant food was good and breakfast enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and carried luggage to room. Many stone steps to get around and up to room.
I would recommend. (Altitude was high. Oxygen available.)

Hotel was decent with rooms accessed from the garden. Stayed in Chivay en route to the Colca Canyon. The room was well enough equipped . Breakfast was pretty limited. Hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the town centre . Stayed as part of a tour but would have no issue recommending it if visiting Chivay

Cute little rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens and views to die for. Bed was comfortable. Electric blanket and electric radiator kept us warm through the night. The breakfast was maybe not the best we had in Peru but definitely had plenty of choice even for veggies like myself. Coffee was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant and my veggie portion was lovely and my partner loved his alpaca steaks.

This is probably one of the best, if not the best hotel in Chivay. It’s up on a small hill at the entrance to town and have a great overall view of this sleepy little town. They have a very small staff, but everyone is super pleasant. The room was adequate enough, the hot shower was the best part of it and you do not have to worry about those cold nights in Chivay as they have an electric heater and heated blankets on the bed. They also provide towels for rental if you want to visit the hot springs. Overall, this was a great stay and would love to visit again.

A great haven after 3 days hiking Colca Canyon. Room was huge and very well heated, with cool views over the river to the town.

I stayed for one night at hotel Pozo del Cielo in Chivay at part of an organised tour of Peru. It's a lovely character hotel with views to die for from room. It was very cold at night, no problem with that, but there was no hot water for a shower in the morning. Great breakfast
