The sea was very dirty

The waiting staff were generally lovely and extremely helpful in this hotel in particular Miljan and Vanja. Miljan spoke excellent English which was useful in getting the simplest of issues resolved such as the issue described below regarding decaf coffee. In my opinion he went above and beyond to make your breakfast and general experience the best it could be within his role. There was also an extremely helpful member of staff on reception, whose name I cant remember, blonde, wore glasses, lived in Budva and spoke excellent English so she was our go to person for travel advice etc.
The breakfast provided a wide variety of options to choose from. There were times when the 'hot' food such as omelet's and grilled vegetables were cold. My husband asked for a decaf coffee and we were told this was not available and he had to purchase it from the restaurant attached to the hotel; given this was described as a 5* this was a disgrace.
Towards the end of our holiday the air con in the bedroom started to play up and didn't work one night which in 27c was not helpful!!
Location of hotel was described as within a short distance to Budva town. This was a difficult 45/50 min walk along a busy main road in 36c heat so not great for a 70yr old! Alternatively there was a rickety mini bus that came when it arrived; you bought your tickets from the young men sat at the bus stop who changed the price at will so this had to be challenged. 4euros from the hotel to the last stop in Budva old town, which is well worth a visit if you like history.
I would not recommend getting a taxi from the airport; they tried to charge us 70 euros despite a board showing a price of 50euros. We were told our hotel was outside of Budva hence the increase. It was actually 10 mins distance in a car. The car we went in didn't look road worthy and a nail sticking out of the back of the drivers seat ripped my linen trousers. The driver kept asking for a tip as he had four children to feed etc. basically begging. He didn't get out of 3rd gear all the way to the hotel and despite some precarious bends he kept looking round at us sat in the back... who needs a ride on Oblivion when you have this experience!! I would highly recommend you prebook a taxi from Booking.com.

Время работы бассейна и сауны просто смешное, кому оно вообще надо, пока солнце светит? Плохо убирают номера, нам ни разу не поменяли постельное белье за неделю, пол был грязный и остался грязным даже после замечания, душевую кабину тоже мыли ужасно. Отельная еда просто отвратительная, если приедете ночью поесть не получится.
Det var veldig fint og nære stranden. God frokost og ellers rent og pent.
Personalet kunne vært hyggeligere og mer imøtekommende. De fleste var ikke så gode i engelsk, noe som gjorde det litt vanskelig å kommunisere. Oppfattet også noen som litt strenge og utålmodige. Det kunne vært chrome-cast på rommet, og bedre info ved innsjekk. De fortalte oss at det egentlig kostet penger å bestille kaffe ved frokost, selv om var det flere andre gjester som ikke fikk samme beskjed, så vi skjønte ikke helt hva som stemte.

Удивило что бутылку воды они отказались ежедневно давать бесплатно. Сантехника как и мебель дешовая и плохо работает. После уборки каждый раз делали замечание что в номере пыль не убрали и мусор не вынесли. Пепельница на балконе чистая. Лифт не соответствует 5 зведочному отелю. Завтрак как в деловых отелях. Только улыбаются и говорят ок исправим. Хотя жаль потраченных денег.

It’s in a prime location, on the shore and right bellow there’s the promenade with all the restaurants and attractions.
The breakfast was very rich and full of everything.
We asked for a 2 twin bed but didn’t get one.
The pool is small, which was a shame and the Sauna didn’t work I think after 18:00 or so…
No Netflix or any kind of application although the TV is a SmartTV.
Great food and location, very comfortable.
Gym could use some yoga mats and disinfectant spray
