Cheap and great location. Close to the Tayrona Bus stop. Privacy curtains.
There was no air conditioning. Incredibly hot. There are better hostels with air condition close by for the same price.
My only complaint is that
it is only one shower and toilet for the shared rooms.

Extremely hot in the room
I got to the place late night and left in the next morning because I didn’t like Santa Marta. It was great for sleeping, clean comfy beds with air conditioning in the room! The bathroom was nice and freshly cleaned. The pool is like a puddle, not deeper than my waistline, it’s for foot washing not for swimming.
The accommodation is fair enough for the price!
But the beach is very small and I’ve seen locals fighting with another Colombian man who was trying to swim naked. After the fight one of them came up to me, threatened me and asked for money. I refused to give him money and left very pissed off. I did not like the city, Santa Marta is noisy, busy, dirty and sketchy. You can see homeless drug addicts on streets, even during the day laying on the ground. It’s a shame!
Could leave our bags while we went into tayrona for 2 nights free of charge!
