Not speaking English
I recently spent about two weeks in Guangzhou, China, and stayed at Paco Hotel around the Ouzhuang area. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Guangzhou.
The **location is one of the biggest advantages of this hotel**. It is only about a two-minute walk from the subway station, which makes it incredibly convenient for getting around Guangzhou. From the station, you can easily connect to different parts of the city, making it a great choice, especially if you are visiting Guangzhou for business.
For me, the **value for money was excellent**. The room was comfortable, the service was good, and breakfast was included in the price. The hotel mainly provides breakfast rather than lunch or dinner, but I actually found this quite convenient because I spent most of my days outside exploring the city and doing business. There are also plenty of shops and places to eat around the hotel, so getting food was never a problem.
I was particularly impressed with the **front desk staff**. They were extremely helpful and went out of their way to assist me whenever I needed something. They even helped me order food when necessary. One thing I really appreciated was their translation device. The staff could speak Chinese into the device and have it translated into English, while I could speak English and have it translated into Chinese. This made communication very easy, and we understood each other perfectly.
The **room service and housekeeping were also excellent**. Throughout my stay, I had no major complaints. Everything was well taken care of, and I genuinely enjoyed my time at the hotel.
Another great benefit is that **laundry is available for free on the second floor**, which is especially useful if you are staying for several days or weeks.
But above everything else, **I loved the location**. It made moving around Guangzhou so easy and convenient.
