We enjoyed our visit and would probably stay there again if we return to Luxor
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Gardens were beautiful, lovely setting.
We especially enjoyed the roof garden restaurant and food.

Cons:

My daughter suffered very bad insect bites the first night, we could see the insects in the bed. The hotel were very helpful and moved her to another room for the 2nd night.

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, leckeres Frühstück in schönem Garten
Pros:

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, sehr gut und nah gelegen an der Westbank an der Anlegestelle für die Boote, das Frühstück war draussen in einem schönen Garten und sehr lecker. Alle waren dort sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich würde sofort wiederkommen.

Хороший тихий отель на Западном берегу.
Pros:

Очень милый отель с уютным внутренним двориком в цветах. Номера просторные, с балконами. Кровати удобные. Завтрак подают во дворике, ужин можно заказать по меню на последнем этаже, неплохо готовят. Цены приемлемые. Персонал отзывчивый, находили для нас такси по хорошим ценам. Отлично расположен - 7 минут пешком до парома. Оплата за всё картой.

Cons:

Немного сложно найти с первого раза вход.

Un très joli petit hôtel à taille humaine dans un adorable jardin tout fleuri !
Un personnel avenant et très sympathique !
Bon restaurant sur le roof top.
Piscine chauffée. Très agréable lorsque l'on rentre fatigué des visites.
Très bien situé à 2 mn à pied du nil où vous pouvez prendre pour 100 livres un bateau qui vous emmène à westbank où vous pourrez admirer louxor temple et karnak.
Sur la même rive de l'hôtel taxi ou tuktuk pour aller visiter la vallée des rois et hatchepsout. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Authentiek, hotel op rustige en praktische locatie
Pros:

De rust. Het tsjilpen van mussen in de binnentuin als enige omgevingsgeluid. Wat een verademing temidden van de vele (verkeers) herrie die Egypte eigen is. Eindelijk met de deuren naar het balkon - uitkijkend over de binnentuin met zwembad - open kunnen slapen.
Een authentiek, ietwat eclectisch hotel. In de kamer was aan alles gedacht: van voldoende plankruimte in de badkamer om toiletspullen neer te zetten tot een waterkoker en een koelkast in de kamer. Balkon met comfortabel zitje (op foto‘s niet zo goed te zien) en deuren die ook deels te openen zijn met vensters voorzien van muskietengaas.
Vriendelijke, behulpzame medewerkers (uitsluitend mannen - voor zo ver ik heb kunnen constateren) die kunnen helpen een fiets te huren (dé manier om alle bezienswaardigheden van Luxor en omgeving te bezoeken; fiets mag ook op de veerpont naar de East Bank) of een taxi transfer naar het vliegveld te regelen.
Restaurant op beschut dakterras, een bar beneden waar de hele dag drankjes - ook met alcohol - en eten besteld kunnen worden om te gebruiken in één van de zitjes in de tuin of bij het (verwarmde) zwembad. Ligbedden en badhanddoeken beschikbaar.
Op loopafstand van winkels, restaurants, atm en de veerpont naar de East Bank (voor Karnak, Luxor Tempel en Luxor Museum); 15-20 minuten fietsen van ticket office en monumenten van Deir al Medina, Tombes der Edelen, Medinat Habu en Vallei der Koninginnen), 30 minuten fietsen naar Vallei der Koningen.

Cons:

De koelkast op de kamer sloeg wel erg vaak en luidruchtig aan - duidelijk aan vervanging toe.
Alleen bij aankomst stonden er 2 flesjes drinkwater op de kamer (in tegenstelling tot andere hotels in Egypte waar ik verbleef). Andere dagen zelf dus drinkwater moeten kopen, na misgrijpen op tweede dag.
Tijdens 4 dagen verblijf geen schone handdoeken gekregen.

A very enjoyable stay.
Pros:

El Gezira is in a great location, it is excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are large and breakfast is good.
This was my second visit.

Calme
Pros:

L’Hotel El Gezira Garden est un oasis de calme dans une ville de Louxor parfois fatigante. Idéal pour se reposer entre des visites de sites historiques où se rafraîchir en cas de chaleur.
Le personnel est très prévenant et sympathique.
