Die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter inkl. Hotelmanager. Frühstücksbuffet mit viel Auswahl und gut. Die vielen Pflanzen, Sitzgelegenheiten und Dachterassen.
Auch das Abendessen ist zu empfehlen.
Wir haben alles über das Hotel organisiert. Ballonfahrt, Taxiausflug Tal der Könige und andere Luxor-Klassiker, Taxi nach Kairo. Alles bestens und zuverlässig.

I had a wonderful time staying at El Gezira Hotel.
The hotel is located on the West Bank, which is calmer than the East Bank. I found it a lot more relaxing. The East Bank is easy to reach by public ferry and the hotel is less than 5 minutes on foot from the ferry stop. I read a review by someone saying the area felt dodgy for female travellers - that wasn't my impression. I felt safe in the area and the hotel at all times.

When I arrived, the hotel was fully booked, but I was told I could move to a better room the next day. It wasn't necessary, because my room was perfectly fine, but they did give me another room the next day. The new room was amazing: spacious, bright and with a balcony overlooking the garden.
The garden is where you can enjoy your breakfast or other meals. Breakfast was included with my room and when I went out during breakfast times, they prepared a very generous breakfast box to take along.

I booked a driver for a tour of the West Bank through the hotel without problems as well as a hot air balloon ride. The balloon ride was cancelled three days in a row, so when it looked like it might be possible on my last day in Luxor, they reserved a spot for me even though I hadn't confirmed yet, just to make sure I could go. I really appreciated how thoughtful it was! :)

The best part of the hotel is probably the lovely staff. From Hamza at reception to all the other staff members I met, everyone was super friendly and welcoming, always making sure that I had a good time.
I came back for a final night before returning home and I would absolutely stay there again during another trip to Egypt.

Bien placé pas loin de l'arrivée du ferry.
La rive ouest est le meilleur endroit pour se loger à Louxor.
Le jardin est adorable. Les chambres sont très correctes.

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Il est dans une rue perpendiculaire à la rue principale donc bien au calme. . Le personnel est adorable, toujours prêt à rendre service. Les repas étaient très bon !

The decor and ambience is beautiful here, it feels like you are staying in a Mediterranean garden hideaway with lots of different spaces to relax. We loved it, it was probably our favourite place we stayed in egypt!
The Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to make my son feel special on his birthday.
The food was brilliant, we really enjoyed eating at the hotel over numerous other options. The Thai night was a big hit too.
The family room was a brilliant space for us. Seperate rooms and bathrooms, a sofa area and a outside area, we all loved it 😀

Tout. Très beau jardin. Beaucoup d’espace extérieur où s’installer. On se sent très vite comme à la maison.
Personnel très disponible et toujours actif à s’assurer qu’on ait un excellent séjour.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à Louxor, l’hôtel était vraiment superbe avec un magnifique jardin, tout était calme et paisible !

Das Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstraße auf der Westseite, fußläufig zum Nil. Eine kleine Oase mit Garten und Pool und Dachterrassen. Überall Schatten und Sonnenplätze, ganz wie man es wünscht. Das ägyptische Frühstück ist reichhaltig und aus dem eigene Restaurant und der Bar kann man immer etwas zu Essen bekommen (und auch Getränke aller Art!). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und kümmert sich um alle Belange und ist in keiner Weise aufdringlich! Man fühlt sich sicher und geborgen und kann von dort Luxor (kurze Nilüberfahrt) und die Westbank mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten entdecken.

L'accoglienza della staff e l'attenzione verso il cliente sono notevoli. Ci hanno aiutato a 'organizzare una parte della permanenza a Luxor fornendoci i contatti giusti per gli spostamenti e il giro in feluca al tramonto.
La posizione è sulla riva ovest del Nilo in una zona più autentica e un po' meno turistica.
Dall' hotel si raggiunge facilmente l'east bank tramite barca o servizio taxi (sempre organizzato dalla struttura).
Assolutamente consigliato!
