The resort fee is paid on destination at all times. It includes:
- WiFi high speed access through the hotel's guest rooms and public areas for up to 4 devices per room.
- Two bottles of water in the room (Daily replenish).
- Use of computers in the lobby area (unlimited)
- 24-hour access to the fitness center
- Luggage storage on arrival and/or departure up until 9:00 PM (No overnight).
- Beach chair and umbrella services on the beach (1 umbrella and up to 4 chairs per room).
- Electronic safe deposit box (In room).
Service animals are permitted, however emotional support animals are not permitted.
Parking is available at the hotel as follows: $57 per car/per night - Oversize car $68.40 per car/ per night. I like the location.
Very few elevators. Housekeeper keeps talking to me in her native language even though i already told her that I don’t speak and understand her then she looked so frustrated/rude.

The location was great directly on south beach.
We stayed at the RIU Plaza Miami Beach, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived.
When we were checking in, there was already a family at reception complaining that their wallet had been stolen, which immediately made us feel uneasy about our stay.
We were then allocated a room on the 9th floor with a very poor view overlooking a grubby building at the back of the hotel, which was far from what we expected. Once we got into the room, we found it to be very small and extremely basic. If you’re only staying for a couple of nights, it would probably be adequate, but for a longer stay it certainly wasn’t what we were expecting.
After dropping our luggage off, we headed to the pool bar to relax. Instead, we were greeted by several police officers speaking to a female guest who was visibly distressed and crying. We were later told that she had been slapped in the face by a man. Witnessing this on our first day only added to the negative first impression of the hotel.
The beach was another disappointment. There was a significant amount of sargassum washed ashore, which created a strong sulphur smell. We appreciate that this is a natural occurrence and not something the hotel can control, but it nevertheless had a negative impact on our overall experience of the beach.
What was within the hotel’s control, however, was the attitude of the beach staff. Although the beach facilities officially close at 6:00 pm, staff began clearing away the sunbeds from around 5:00 pm. This happened to us on our second evening while we were still using them, making us feel as though we were being rushed off the beach an hour before closing time.
The lift situation was also frustrating. With only three lifts serving the hotel, there were constant long waits, and when a lift finally arrived it was usually full. It often stopped on almost every floor, making getting around the hotel time-consuming.

La ubicación.
La piscina colapsada de gente. El último dia hasta el agua tenia vomito y nadie lo limpio. Desastre la gestión del cobro y elcheckout. Hay servicios adicionales que solo te los cobran en efectivo porque se lo queda el personal.

בערב כשישבנו בבר לקח המון זמן עד שלקחו מאיתנו הזמנה ועד שהיא הגיעה.

inconveniente todavia sin resolver del 16 de junio que les envio mensaje dia atras. Tomaron de garantia 50 dolares adicionales de mi tarjeta AMEX por consumo de cenas los cuales fueron pagados todo consumo que se hubiera realizado al retiro de mi estadia y a la fecha sigue sin la devolucion de ese importe a mi cuenta del banco.
El resto bien. A la espectativa de mi inconveniente...

The elevators are small and slow. The bed was uncomfortable, the hotel looked old. Check out was confusing and staff werenot competent.
