More like a 3 star really.
Pros:

Spa facilities, although small, never felt crowded. I was grateful for that.

The entire hotel smelt lovely and felt really clean.

A parking space was reserved for me, as requested. I appreciated that.

The location was superb for walking into town and to local amenities.

Mini fridge in the room was great. Good storage space. Bathroom beautiful and modern. Bed was so comfortable. Reception staff provided us with a fan when we found the room too hot.

Some reception staff were excellent and very accommodating - the 2 gentlemen I met were great, a young man during the day and an older gentleman during the night shift.

Cons:

The breakfast was just ok. My partner didn't enjoy it at all and didn't bother to come down to eat the 2nd morning. I found the hot food options quite poor - bad quality meat and overcooked cold eggs. I expected a little better from a 4 star - this was more 3 star. But the breakfast staff themselves were very nice and welcoming and friendly.


Although my massage therapist was a very nice person, €90 for an hour of treatments is extortionate and I regret booking it. I would much more recommend walking 15 minutes to town and paying 1/3 of that price for the amazing experience of a Thai massage. I regret paying this much during my holdiay. Not good value for money.

To make the most of my experience, I had planned to use the sauna and swim to relax after paying so much money. Sadly, the sauna didn't open until 16:00 and we were checking out that morning. That was a disappointment.


The Check out experience was very poor. We got a phonecall to our room from reception at 11.10, saying checkout was at 11, despite a previous arrangement with the hotel for our checkout to be 12. The receptionist didn't care about this prior agreement that I had in writing, and repeated that checkout is now. I found the whole experience at checkout with the red haired mature staff member a little degrading, with the staff member making various phone calls in my presence to other staff to collaborate what was used in the minibar and that we had actually vacated the room, multiple times. She didn't even acknowledge my goodbye as we were leaving. Just a bit uncomfortable and left a bad taste.

Decor in the room was a little dated. It definitely felt like a 3 star. No tea/coffee making facilities. The pillows were not very comfortable and the 4 of them were not dressed, since I pulled 2 out of the wardrobe.

Als reines Gesundheitshotel sicherlich in Ordnung- als Urlaubshotel uns persönlich zu wenig!
Pros:

Der Masseur Marcel war wirklich phantastisch! Sehr kompetent! Das Personal auf der medizinischen Ebene war extrem freundlich und eigentlich das Highlight des Hotels.

Cons:

Die Auswahl beim Essen, die Problematiken beim Parken, keine Kaffeemaschine oder Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer.

Pros:

Aufenthalt ist rundum gut gewesen. Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer gebucht, die noch einen kleinen eigenen Flur hatten, somit konnten wir ohne Probleme die Verbindung der Räume offen halten. Zum Frühstück und Abendessen wird ein Buffet angeboten, Das Essen war sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter achten stets, dass wieder nachgefüllt wird.
Vom Hotel aus ist es ein kurze Spaziergang runter zu einem der Brunnen und zum Fluß. Die Umgebung ist generell sehr ruhig und lädt zur Erholung ein.

Cons:

Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind etwas schwierig, das Hotel besitzt Parkplätze an der Straße und vor dem Haus. Unbedingt vorher reservieren, ansonsten kann es ein langer Weg von einem Parkhaus oder einem Parkplatz zum Hotel sein.

Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl.Der Pool war großartig.Er war sauber und warm genug.Es gab kostenlos Bademäntel und Regenschirme die man sich ausleihen kann.

Cons:

DIe Parkplätze waren Mangelware.Man muss schnell sein um ein Parkplatz vor dem Haus kostenpflichtig zu bekommen.Das Personal erklärt aber gern wo man noch parken kann

Pros:

Vše naprosto v pořádku. Personál milý, všude čisto. Jídlo vynikající formou švédských stolů. Využily jsme polopenzi. Užily jsme si i bazén a vířivku. Dobrá poloha hotelu pro procházky po Karlových Varech.
