Did I mention, "Stay here!"?
Pros:

The staff, Lupita, Emelda, and Luis, was very accommodating. The manager, Julieta, was very welcoming and helped with local questions. The hotel is right in the middle of El Centro. Stay here!

Cons:

We stayed for 18 nights, but we had to head home.

Pros:

Desde que llegas al estacionamiento que te proporciona el hotel, la asistencia del personal es muy buena, te resuelven de inmediato. Las instalaciones están muy limpias y cómodas. A unos cuantos pasos puedes encontrar desde farmacias hasta restaurantes. Muy recomendable!!

Cons:

To start, beds are hard, towels are very old, the windows don’t close.
Expect to carry your luggage if you get the very top floor 42 stairs up and down, narrow hallway.
You won’t sleep because of the outside traffic, floors very noise.

Great location and staff!
Pros:

The owner and staff were wonderful! It is centrally located in the historic district. The rooms are clean, spacious with high ceilings, and the beds are very comfortable.

Cons:

We did not state a preference regarding noise, but should have. Because of the central location, any room with a window was quite noisy, so they moved us to a suite with no windows, but skylights. The negative to that was no ventalation. Some appropirate sized artwork on the walls would have been a nice touch. Nice entry and hallways.
The rooms are a bit dated, and no ability to make coffee or tea in the room... you need to purchase at a cafe. Value score would have been higher, but unbenown to us, we booked during a festival so the prices were higher. Loved the fact that they had purified water through a reverse osmosis process, so no use of plastic.

Cons:

Había varios reviews quejándose del piso de madera, es hermoso, pero puntualmente en el cuarto que nos tocó solo sonaba mucho al caminar hacia la cama
Desde afuera casi no se localiza, de repente sería bueno un letrero vistoso o algo
No hay elevador ni aire acondicionado (pero lo mencionan en la descripción)

Pros:

I liked the location and the great hospitality. The staff were friendly and made us feel like home. The rooms were big and comfortable.

Cons:

The water pressure was really light and it took a while for the hot water to warm up but once that took place, it was ok.

Hidden gem in Guanajuato!
Pros:

The hotel location is prime! In the middle of everything, you won't need to use a vehicle since you can walk everywhere from there. Also, the staff was very friendly and resourceful. The rooms are big and clean. The floors creak, but as you would expect from original wood floors, this didn't bother us at all. The price was great!

It was a very comfortable stay.
Pros:

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff is very helpful, shout out to the lady who helped us with our laundry. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, night life and tour guides.
