A wonderful and unique cave-hotel experience made exceptional by Hikmet’s outstanding hospitality – he truly went above
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at Sur Cave Hotel, but what really made our experience exceptional was our host, Hikmet. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. He genuinely went above and beyond for us throughout our stay.

Hikmet helped us arrange tours and activities at very good prices and was always happy to give us advice. He even personally drove us into the city in his own car, which was an incredibly kind gesture. Our flight home was extremely late, and he also allowed us to have a late check-out, which made our final day so much easier.

The rest of the staff were also friendly and helpful. The WiFi was very good, and we loved the garden where guests can pick and enjoy fresh fruit. The hotel itself has lots of character and gives you a genuine cave-hotel experience.

A huge thank you to Hikmet in particular – his hospitality was outstanding and he really made us feel looked after. He is a credit to the hotel and one of the main reasons we would recommend staying here.

Cons:

There was very little we disliked about our stay. The breakfast could be improved with a little more variety and choice. As this is a cave hotel, we completely understand that ventilation can be more challenging, but our larger room would have benefited from an extractor or ventilation fan in the bathroom. These were relatively minor points and did not take away from the excellent hospitality we received.

La particolarità della struttura scavata nella roccia. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Cons:

L’illuminazione delle stanze era insufficiente; bisogna inoltre migliorare l’areazione per eliminare l’umidità e la puzza di ambienti chiusi.
Inoltre manca una spa per gli ospiti dell’albergo.

Sehr gutes Hotel und freundlich nur Zimmer im Obergeschoss buchen
Pros:

Freundliches Personal sehr sauber die Zimmer mit Balkon oben sind sehr viel besser als diese im Untergeschoss. Das Untergeschoss ist eher dunkel und hat mehr Luftfeuchtigkeit.

Cons:

Zuerst ein Zimmer im Untergeschoss erhalten und dann ins Obergeschoss gezogen. Grosser Unterschied und im Obergeschoss sehr zufrieden
