Pros:

Checked out a day earlier. Requested a refund on the last night and was refused went elsewhere

Cons:

Not so clean, damp and smelled of Tabacco smoke. Reception not so friendly

We will certainly return when we visit Guangzhou next time.
Pros:

Excellent location and within walking distance to Beijing Lu pedestrian street.

Cons:

The room bathroom sink area is small as there was no counter space to place my toiletries.
Spotless room and friendly staff, however be prepared for a long wait for the 2 elevators as they are quite slow and often crowded, making it difficult to get around quickly.
The highlight of our stay is the complimentary laundry service which we very much appreciate it.
The free evening supper from 9pm is a welcome touch after a long day of travel.

Generally a good stay as room is clean and is near to everywhere we wanted to go.
Pros:

Location is convenient to most places of attractions. About 5 minutes’ walking distance to Beijing pedestrian street. Comfortable beds. Bottles of water were replenished. There is a MacDonald’s opposite of hotel and a Starbucks downstairs. Ordered food delivery and was delivered by a robot to the hotel door which is a pleasant experience. The view of room with river view is pretty and can see Canton Tower from afar too.

Cons:

Lights in room are too dim. The switches of lights are confusing - not sure which lights are for which and are not labelled for my room with City view (the one facing the river is labelled). Bathroom has outer and inner sliding doors. Outer door is stuck when closed and it is translucent and may not be convenient for some guests.
