We stayed here for a couple of nights as a “mini-moon” and were not disappointed by the hotels efforts to make our stay perfect! On arrival we were greeted by rose petals on our bed, a bottle of bubbly and a lovely hand written post card!
Nothing, we thought everything was brilliant
Location is great. Friendly staff. We didn’t eat in it so can’t comment on food. Room was nice and clean.
Don’t like the pillows but that’s just our preference.
I think it is a bit overpriced for what it is but maybe paying for location.
Location and comfort
Location and decor
Beautiful rooms and hotel and immaculately clean, fantastic location too!
Nothing, it was perfect
Location perfect. Staff so lovely and helpful. Fabulous bar.
The hostess at breakfast was just so lovely, chatty and helpful.
The decor is nice and the majority of staff were very friendly.
We had not been warned that Easter weekend sees 100's of 'boy racers' descend on Portrush. They drive through the town, directly outside the hotel all night beeping horns and shouting until the early hours. Our family room was situated on the front. Sleep was impossible.
We should have been located at the back of the hotel which apparently was much quieter.
Many of the guests at the hotel were clearly there for the partying that weekend. They should've been put in the noisier rooms where they would be unlikely to be disturbed because they would be out enjoying the nightlife until the early hours. This was NOT. A room location for a family of 4 paying almost £300 per night.
In addition in check in I was overcharged by £48. The receptionist did Recife this eventually but there was no explanation as to why this occurred.
The room was missing towels for 2 people.
We left my son's Teddy in the room. I contacted the hotel a few hours after we checked out (that day) to alert them yet housekeeping did not find it. This is baffling as we KNOW we left it in the bed.
An expensive and disappointing stay.
Great location. Lovely hotel. Very cosy room. Will stay again.
Had to keep pressing heat switch to turn heat off it was so warm.
Central location, modern facilities. Lovely traditional bar.
