Very beautiful hotel and very friendly staff.

This place was incredible. We stayed for 2 nights. There are only 10 rooms on the property so it’s not packed with people. You can hardly tell anyone else is there. Short drives to fun activities. Breakfast is gourmet and original. The restaurant is super delicious. The staff is even better. It’s a very rustic feel, while being completely renovated on the inside. It’s a must stay if you want to stay in the countryside/tuscany.

First time at Stigliano, loved the location, the property had that special touch that made it a wonderful experience. Staff at the relais were amazing, food to die for. I would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to stay in a central location in Tuscany, with great food/atmosphere, relaxing surroundings, it has everything you need and more. Each room is a masterpiece, thoughtfully decorated with exquisite Tuscan charm. The attention to detail is remarkable, blending luxury with a cozy, intimate atmosphere. But what truly makes this place special is its soul—the incredible energy created by the wonderful staff, who treat every guest like family.

We were fortunate to meet the owners, whose genuine passion for hospitality shines through in every detail. Their dedication is inspiring, and their presence adds a personal touch that makes the experience unforgettable. And let’s not forget their **adorable dogs**, who roam the property with joyful charm, always greeting guests and adding an extra layer of warmth to this already-perfect retreat.

The on-site restaurant, **La Merla**, is a culinary gem—worthy of a Michelin star. Every dish is a celebration of Tuscan flavors, crafted with locally sourced ingredients, including their **own olive oil, regional wines, and even a line of beauty products**. Each meal was a masterpiece, leaving us in awe of the chef’s talent.

Il Relais Le Macine di Stigliano è stato un vero e proprio rifugio di pace. Immerso nella campagna toscana, questo hotel offre un'oasi di tranquillità lontano dalla frenesia quotidiana. La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, con un arredamento elegante e confortevole che crea un'atmosfera calda e accogliente. Ho particolarmente apprezzato le due ore di relax nella zona wellness esterna sul fine serata: perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata alla scoperta delle bellezze della Toscana. Il personale è stato gentilissimo, e disponibile, rendendo il nostro soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Una menzione particolare a Margherita che ci ha accolto al check-in (in compagnia della splendida golden retriever Isotta) e consigliato di prenotare un tavolo presso il loro ristorante interno per l'evento "Borghi e Cantine" dove abbiamo potuto vivere un'esperienza unica con gli abbinamenti di ottimi vini di Montalcino. Peccato non aver potuto prolungare il nostro soggiorno, ma non mancheremo di ritornare magari in primavera!
