A fabulous hotel in a great location.
Pros:

This is a fantastic hotel which feels spacious and is spotlessly clean. The facilities are great including an outdoor pool and a choice of 4 restaurants plus 2 bars. It appears that the restaurants are all served from a single kitchen but the food choice in each is totally different and the food quality was great.
The hotel has a frontage on the Nile with a lovely bar and the option of taking a trip on a small sail boat. There is also a bar in the open courtyard with a singer on each of the nights we were there. The location was ideal for seeing the Luxor and Karnak temples and also for visiting the valley of the Kings.

Cons:

The balcony in our room overlooked the road and it wasn't pleasant to sit out - but this is what we had booked so this isn't a complaint.
The area around the hotel is not somewhere we felt comfortable walking around - not unsafe but simply constant attention from people trying to sell things. This is typical of this part of the world so this is not a reflection on the hotel itself.

Luxor at it's best
Pros:

Sehr schönes stilvolles Hotel mit tollen Terrassen am Nil zu sitzen. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet und supernetter Bewirtung. Zuvorkommendes Personal, geräumige saubere Zimmer mit allem Komfort. Gute Basis alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in und um Luxor zu besuchen.

Cons:

Tipp: Die Zimmer zur Strasse/Stadt sind recht laut, wir haben vor Ort aber problemlos umgebucht auf Zimmer zum Atrium.

The location and nile view

Cons:

Not clean, a lot of work needed for the staff on how to clean hotel room. Very old restaurant, swimming pool, the wooden bridge is very old and some what dangerous.... Steigenberger standards are much higher abroad... a lot lot of work to meet steigenberger clients' expectations.

A fantastic hotel in many ways - the staff, the food and the location. Will definitely return!
Pros:

The staff were fantastic! Very polite, courteous and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The Lebanese and Thai restaurants were exceptional and the breakfast offering was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. Mohammed the bar manager was lovely and looked after us very well.

Très bon hotel pour un séjour à Luxor
Pros:

les lits immenses, les chambres grandes et spacieuses, le petit déjeuner buffet super complet beaucoup de choix et très bonne qualité, piscine agréable, salle de sport très fournie pour un hotel, room service rapide, restaurant thai super bon

Cons:

j ai du payer un upgrade pour avoir une chambre au calme vu que comme annoncé dans plusieurs commentaires les chambres standard sont sur la rue donc super bruyantes
les boutiques dans l hotel une véritable arnaque niveau prix, tout est excessif et bien sur aucun prix affiché, une boite de Pringles 11 euros

Take in the rhythm of the Nile
Pros:

We just loved this hotel's location on the Nile. Unlike other hotels, they have lounge chairs with umbrellas looking out at the river just beyond the pool. You can spend hours watching the activity, from launching balloons at sunrise to a parade of boats to the feluccas at sunset. They have a tour company on site for your activities. The restaurants are good and the staff is so nice. We highly recommend this property. After our early touring we would come back and eat breakfast looking out at the Nile and then basically spend the rest of the day enjoying the scene, minus a trip to the gym or swimming laps in the pool.

Spijt dat ik er heb gelogeerd
Pros:

Het ontbijt is gewoon heel goed, het personeel aan het zwembad is gewoon top

Cons:

De hygiëne bij aankomst op de kamer, en de glazen voor een biertje te drinken aan het zwembad, Het is normaal dat dit in kunststof is, maar deze zijn al met bruine randen en je kan er niet meer doorheen kijken. Gewoon het smaak niet meer
