Pros:

Fantastic location in the middle of the mountains. We stayed for four nights and it was totally worth it. Its very quiet up there with a stunning view into the sky at nights. I can only recommend it.

Pros:

Außergewöhnliche Lage, nettes Personal, ruhe und Natur pur. Liebevoll restauriertes Steindorf. Strom und Internet sowie warmes Wasser war selbstverständlich vorhanden. Auch war die Anfahrt mit Kleinwagen absolut kein Problem.

Cons:

Zimmer etwas klein, leider fehlen Ablageflächen.

Idéal pour se reposer et se reposer
Pros:

C’est un village perdu au milieu des montagnes avec des vues magnifiques. On peut faire de jolis randonnée, pas trop difficile et le restaurant est extraordinaire et pas très coûteux. Le petit déjeuner est varié est copieux mais pour déjeuner il faut avoir prévu des sandwiches ou aller manger à Topolia. Car il n’a pas de frigo, il faut aussi avoir prévu son assiette et ses couverts. Idéal pour se reposer et se rechercher.

Cons:

Il n’y a qu’une seule prise dans chaque appartement, ce qui était compliqué pour notre matériel médical

Lovely place in the middle of the mountains. Cozy room. Relaxing atmosfere. Buildings very well integrated in the nature. Restaurant delicious (by far the best dinner we had in Creta!)

Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Pros:

Die Lage, die Art der Unterkunft, die Wanderungen die empfohlen werden und die Küche sind wahnsinnig außergewöhnlich und müssen mit 10/10 bewertet werden.

Man muss das erlebt haben, nicht für den ganzen Kreta-Urlaub aber für 2-3 Tage für uns eine super neue und schönes Erlebnis auf Kreta.

Cons:

Die Räume haben Charakter, dies spiegelt sich auch um Geruch leider wieder. Hier wäre es schön, wenn man Lösungen für geruchsempfindliche Menschen hätte.

Wir haben zum Schluss eine Zitrone aus dem Restaurant erhalten und in eine Karaffe Wasser neben das Bett gestellt.

Durch den permanenten Kamingerich (er war aus) konnte meine Freundin leider schwer schlafen.

Excellent restaurant
Pros:

Le restaurant est extraordinaire, et l’environnement très vert et bucolique est relaxant. La literie est très confortable. Et nous avons beaucoup apprécié disposé de transats et d’un extérieur spacieux et confidentiel. La vue depuis le restaurant est à couper le souffle.

Cons:

L’hôtel est très isolé, ce qui est charmant, mais aucune activité de découverte n’est proposée. Il n’y a pas d’espace commun sauf le restaurant. Bref l’expérience manque curieusement de chaleur humaine en dépit du personnel ultra professionnel du restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est assez décevant par rapport au niveau du restaurant: on aurait préféré plus de produits grecs que des crêpes ou de la pizza mais c’est généreux.

This is a very special experience at a rustic eco-tourism property with an amazing history. It will not be for everyone, but for us, it was perfect! It became one of our most wonderful and unexpected surprises of our time in Crete. Their award-winning, ultra high-end restaurant, offering magnificent Cretan-inspired dishes, provided two of the best dinners we ever had! A bountiful breakfast is included in the room price. We loved everything about Milia, are inspired by the vision and determination of its founders, and wouldn’t change a thing.

Cons:

For many, the very remote mountainous location, down long winding roads, and the quiet, rustic nature of this eco-resort, especially steep, cobbled walkways. You need to be in good shape to be here.
